Ministry of Health in Gaza:

Unprecedented numbers of starving people of all ages are arriving at emergency departments in a state of severe exhaustion and fatigue. We warn that hundreds whose bodies have wasted away will face certain death due to hunger and their bodies' endurance capacity being exceeded.

Quds News Network:

The Director of Al-Shifa Hospital told Al Jazeera that hospitals are dealing with hundreds suffering from severe hunger and malnutrition. “We don’t have enough beds or medicine,” he said. “We’re seeing symptoms like memory loss, exhaustion, and collapse from extreme hunger.”

He added: “We have 17,000 children suffering from severe malnutrition. This is a generation being starved to death.”

According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the total number of children who have died due to malnutrition has risen to 70. Meanwhile, 620 patients have lost their lives as a direct result of the ongoing shortage of food and medicine.

The UN confirmed that Israel is still blocking food from reaching starving Palestinians with only a few trucks of aid having reached Gaza.

Moreover, Israeli mass killings of aid seekers near GHF aid sites have become a grim daily reality amid chaotic scenes, as desperate Palestinians are given only a narrow window to rush for food and are targeted by Israeli forces.

Palestinians in Gaza and the UN described these sites as “mass death traps” and “slaughterhouses”.

Holy fuck. We are nearly two years into the genocide, but a ceasefire talk is slipping further away from us. As politicians go back and forth, stalling every second, families are starving with the blockade in place while being targeted from soldiers when they are receiving food and supplies. They are suffering through the unforgiving heat. They are surviving intense bombardment and ground invasions.

This is is not normal. Bombing homes, hospitals, places of worship, shops, schools, and universities is not normal. Restricting aid is not normal. Denying people to swim in the sea is not normal. How much longer can Palestinians go through this? And why are we OK with it? This is why we need to talk about Palestine. Keep boycotting, donating, and protesting!
