My sister Soso is STILL very sick! Her fever won’t go down and she won’t stop screaming because of the pain, intense heat and hunger. We’re running out of medicine and the only food we have left is spoiled. Going to the hospital is too dangerous lately so we don’t know what to do. Chickenpox is supposed to be benign, but her body has been weakened by nearly two years of genocide.

Please help her. I know it looks like we’ve already received more than enough, and I’m thankful for every single dollar donated, but no one can imagine the inflation that’s hit us. Everything we receive is spent immediately on rent, food, medicine, a turn on the phone charger, an internet connection. A 25kg sack of flour costs $1,000 and medicines are a rarity. As for clean water, we just haven’t tasted it in 18 months.

I had dreams and ambitions to study photographic design, but I was deprived of all of that because of the genocide war on Gaza. I was living the best days of my youth. But with the beginning of this war, I became unable to live my normal life. At least our warm house sheltered me and my family until it was bombed for the first time, that damned night. Our house has become like a ghost town. We continued to seek refuge from death there until we were besieged and displaced from our safety under fire to a tent (shelter) in the bitter cold of winter, with the lack of basic necessities of life (water pollution, high cost of living, disease, insect infestation, malnutrition, difficulty of movement, overcrowding), and many other daily difficulties, especially with the significant increase in prices. This was not the first time we had to be displaced. We moved again from a tent in Rafah to another tent in Khan Yunis. I then returned to our destroyed home to repair what we could to find shelter for my family, despite not having all the basic necessities of life (destroyed sanitation infrastructure and water lines, destroying any form of life). Please help me achieve my dream of completing my academic career at university and for my family to survive this genocide and escape to a safe place and travel.”

Noha @nohastudent2025 is a dear friend of mine and a wonderful person who is incredibly kind, warm, selfless, generous, and compassionate. Now, Noha needs our help. When the IOF invaded, she was a Pharmacy student in her final stages of training. Since the invasion, she has been unable to attend classes, and has been studying her few salvageable materials in chaos, darkness, and fear.

Gaza’s education system is amazingly resilient, and has introduced ways for students of all levels to resume studying. Noha wants to complete the last stage of her studies and take the exam to become a certified pharmaceutical technician. This would allow her to gain employment as a pharmacist, fulfill her dream, help the people of Gaza, and support her disabled little sister’s ongoing treatment.

The problem is that this training is very expensive. The pressures of operating under genocide have led to a marked increase in the cost of the certification. You can help make a major difference in the life of an amazing young woman and her entire family by supporting her education fund.

🌿 My Name is Rola, and This is My Story 🌿

I never thought I would be writing this. I never thought I would be begging for help just to keep my children warm, just to feed them one more meal. But here I am, reaching out to you, because I have no other choice.

My name is Rola. I am a mother of two beautiful children, and before October 7th, we had a life filled with love and laughter. We had a home. My children had their own room, filled with their toys and drawings. We would sit together on our balcony, drinking coffee in the early morning light. We had dreams, just like any other family.

But in an instant, it was all gone.

A missile struck. The earth shook beneath us. The air filled with dust and fire. My husband and son ran, stumbling over each other in terror. I stood frozen, the ringing in my ears drowning out my own screams. Our home was shattered—windows blown out, doors ripped from their hinges. And when I looked outside, our neighbor’s house, a place that once echoed with children's laughter, was nothing but rubble and ash.

That was just the beginning.

The bombs never stopped. Every night, I held my children close as the sky rained fire. The sound of explosions mixed with the cries of mothers searching for their babies in the darkness. I covered my children, whispering words of comfort, but how do you comfort a child who is terrified of dying in their sleep?

We had to leave. We walked away from everything—our home, our memories, the warmth of our life before. My children left behind their favorite toys, their books, their safe space. Now, we have nothing.

No home.

No food.

No clean water.

No way out.

I went to buy sugar the other day. It cost $20 for just a kilo. Food is disappearing, and the little that remains is impossible to afford. Every day, I fight to find just enough to keep my children alive.

I am exhausted. I am scared. I need your help.

I never imagined I would have to beg for my family’s survival. But today, I am.

Please, if you are reading this, help us. Help me save my children. Help us find shelter, food, a way to rebuild even a small piece of the life we lost. If we ever have the chance to leave, we need support. If we are forced to stay, we need a home again.
