this miniature portrait of hamilton, apparently done on january 11 1773 (16th birthday present, if we're going by 1757, perhaps? from who?) makes me laugh because he looks so young. in just 2-3 years he would join the new york militia, and then fight in the continental army and meet george washington. you know that anecdote about how a soldier saw hamilton's company and went "wtf is this skinny kid doing here" only to learn that he was the captain? that makes a lot more sense now.

he came to america in 1772, so this means he would've looked even younger when he was actually on st. croix, bossing everyone around at cruger's firm. can you imagine being a sea captain or business associate and getting reprimanded by an even smaller version of this dork? jesus christ it must have been a nightmare to work with him.

BROSKI BRO MAKE THAT YAP POST ABT THE BULLET 😧😧😧

Well, the opportunity finally presents itself :)c

Bullet yap post under cut ⬇️

Ok, so when I said Bullet yap post, I mean how I believe they work. [My Bullet will use they/it pronouns throughout this post]

I believe The Bullet inflicts “death” on people only by physical contact. For example, it does interact with the King but because it did not physically interact with the King, his death comes at a later time. On the topic of death, I believe that The Bullet only speeds up the time of death rather than instantly set you up for it, like, they’re more of a ‘checkpoint’ for your demise rather than your demise itself. For example, how The Bullet also tells Philip where Eacker is rather than just touching him or how The Bullet passes Burr the quill rather than just running up to Hamilton with their hand out.

I also believe you can unintentionally avoid The Bullet’s attempts at “killing you” by abruptly changing your way of life or something. Speaking on that I wanted to indulge more into my Au about them. In my Au, when touching someone, The Bullet gets to know how someone will die and the time of their death. It’s more of The Bullet’s job to find a way to cause that opportunity to present itself quicker. It’s more of an aid in death than an omen of death. But, if you know how someone will die you can also prevent it, so that’s what happens with them in the Au. They do fall in love with someone (Dolly: the girl next to it during ‘Blow us all away’), and now try it’s best to “save” her from anything that could kill her, actively forgetting that death is inevitable. It’s a fire Au I swear 🥺.

Anyway, that’s why they wear a glove in my design so it doesn’t know everyone’s death date. I believe they are sent out to kill people instead of just choosing someone. This is kinda interchangeable but I believe it to be the King telling it who to kill. Hear me out. Before they become the omen of death, you see it’s neck get snapped by one of the King’s men, so maybe before they were The Bullet they were just a civilian that got unrightfully killed, turned into the Omen of Death instead of just going to the afterlife, but unfortunately works under the King now. That’s why you only see them kill people and said people’s relatives associated with the American Revolution, because the King was like, “Fuck those guys, kill some of them I don’t care which ones” and The Bullet gave him a thumbs up and started taking them down. This is an changeable thought like I said at the start though so if you have any Bullet theories and/or headcanons please share 🙏

Ending this post off with some Bullet headcanons of my own:

-The Bullet communicates telepathically (like how Saiki K does), and are so there for mute. Though it can communicate it rarely does.

-When you look at The Bullet, it gives more uncanny valley vibes than anything. Thats why in my design I drew them with white eyes instead of black, for that “dead” feeling.

-LESBIAN

-Can float around like how a ghost does, but choses to stay grounded.

-Though they try their best not to, it attracts many friendships. For example, with the King and Dolly (?) (I don’t remember if that’s what the bullet is called or the girl next to her is, some ensemble enjoyer tell me please)
