I’m taking my tumblr down to bare-bones.

I’m keeping reference and resource blogs I like, but there’s a lot of stress on this site that I don’t need (not anyone’s fault in particular. Just......tumblr.......). If you want to keep a line of communication open, let me know. If I keep your blog anyway, it means I like the prayers or articles you post.

But yeah. Trying to cut back on social media. I’ll be checking in less often, so I want to prevent myself from back-scrolling for days.

I would love to have an actual debate some day that didn’t just use sensationalist terminology, political buzzwords, and emotions.

I mentioned a few months ago about going out to an abortion mill with Sarah, who is pregnant, a mother of 5, a foster mom of multiple children, and an OB/GYN (so basically, an expert on all things pertaining to abortion). We spoke on ectopic pregnancies specifically. Here’s a recent post from her.

It’s a great first-time anime because it’s only about 60 episodes, but it’s a pretty common one in the community, it’s a great story line, AND IT INTRODUCES YOU TO PAIN

is fulmetal alchemist a good first time anime?

ive never watched any anie (besides maybe an anime movie or pokemon or aggretsuko but that doesnt count) but ive never seen a full on anime series and i heard good things about fma:b

I’m just tired of people pretending that women have to be hard all the time. That women have to lose their femininity in order to be of importance to the world. Can we go back to women being soft and strong in their own ways instead of trying to take over men’s roles in every aspect of life?

I am literally astounded by the number of pro-choicers recently stating “yeah I know a fetus is alive, but that doesn’t matter because I don’t want it in my body inconveniencing me and my life, so I deserve the right to terminate it.” 

Was I naive to think the debate would end when science finally convinced everyone of the life in the womb?  Was I naive to think, in this the age of human rights, social justice, philanthropy, and equality, that those same basic human rights would be applied to the human life growing in the womb?  

“It’s a life!”  “I know.”  “It deserves human rights!”  “I don’t care!” 

Where do we even go from there? Logic and morality simply hit the brick wall of the pro-choicers’ adamant refusal to let go of their “right to choose.”

Hey, if you genuinely believe that men are trash, if you really think that men can’t love as deeply and as authentically as women, if you think that women are inherently better than men in any way, if you think men deserve any less love and compassion and kindness than women, or if you think that men should be excluded from body positivity and forms of support,

I’m really sorry you haven’t had good men and boys in your life. I’m sorry that something happened to you that made you believe these lies. I’m really sorry. But saying these things is untrue, hurtful, unkind, and cruel.

Boys and men can be as good and kind and loving and worthy as women. Full stop.

Another woman utterly failed by our society’s devaluation of women’s reproductive health. We can’t wait around for male doctors to decide what we need to know. This is why we need to take control and educate ourselves about our own bodies.

Talking openly about your beliefs is not shoving your religion down other people’s throats. Believe it or not, that’s literally what religious freedom is, and if you antagonize and attack people for simply talking about what they believe to be true, you are the problem, not them.
