TAKE THAT!: AN LGBT ACE ATTORNEY CHARITY FAN ZINE

It’s finally here! We’re proud to present Take That! to you all after months of work. Take That! is a charity zine made by and for LGBT Ace Attorney fans, meant to show the community experience and how it thrives in all its variety – love, family, friends and life, all through the scope of our beloved lawyer game.

This zine:

contains over 40 artists from across the fandom, ranging in skill level, age and experience.

is SFW and suitable for all ages.

has both illustrated and written works

Thank you, and not particularly !! As someone who’s been bullied for their interests when they were younger, I’d say it’s nice to let people just keep on enjoying what they enjoy, and even support them!!

any tips for a small artist wanting to do commissions?

Oh man, I’m not good at giving advice, ;v; but I guess I’d say not to underprice yourself! Some people charge a fixed rate but others charge based on the time they spend on a piece, so like, be super confident in your art!! I know it’s easy to be like “no one will pay this much for my art,” but that’s not true!!!!! Your art is worth all the effort and care you put into it, so be super duper confident!!! Get your stuff out in a bunch of art tags, promo yourself, maybe ask some friends to help promo too!

Aside from getting your name out there, usually after I get a commission I frequently update and message my commissioners, keep them posted on the process and how their piece is coming ! I usually send them the sketches and that sort of thing to get their feedback, same with colors, just in case they want anything tweaked. c: I think doing this is good because it shows the commissioner you’re making progress (and personally it eases some of my own anxiety ‘cause if you’re showing them your progress it feels like you’re keeping them waiting less ;u;). 

But yeah! If you have any specific questions I didn’t answer cause I’m a doofus I’d be happy to do my best to answer! ;v;
