Today’s topic is a personal one since I myself suffer from depression from time to time and I believe it’s important to make people understand that it cannot be solved by „doing some sports, going out etc“ - because sometimes you can’t even be yourself ... it’s like you forgot how to function at all. There are different types of depression, so some ppl may be working normally but as soon as they’re home they fall apart... and others just can’t get out of bed because something’s holding them back so badly ... Pls stop giving advice to ppl who suffer from depression if you never experienced it yourself before - instead try to be understanding and supporting :-) thank you!

This year I thought I might start my own #inktoberchallenge with a pretty dark but still important topic! ——

Mental disorders are quite common and a part of our everyday lives BUT still not talked about often enough...

It’s sad and a shame that people call others crazy because of an disorder or not taking them seriously at all - so this challenge needs you to inform yourself about certain disorders in order to participate! And since I don’t want to offend anyone I left out some disorders on purpose! Pls don’t make fun of this challenge, thanks :-) now let‘s start inking y’all!

I just recently started to focus more on improving my painting skills regarding landscapes and perspective. So far I reached day 3 of my practice :-)

Since I have nowhere to go atm, thanks to CORVID19, I thought I might focus on painting backgrounds/ environments and speed paintings. I really liked the thought of having a FFX3 so here’s my take on it ;-)

It’s art time :D

This time it’s a BDO fanart of a Mystic wearing her desert Rakshande dress. When I was looking for a pose and painting her I had Coen Van Ovens painting of Siesta 1932 in mind and tried to do a master study as well as a new fanart piece :)

While I was working on this piece, I also worked on my new picture of Lightning from FF13 :) Lightning will return soon :P

Finally! I managed to finish my master degree, so now I‘m able to share my work with you again :) this time it’s my interpretation of Amanos version of Lunafreya! (The one on the Royal Edition cover of FFXV) I actually started with a master study of Frank Weston Bensons painting called „Summer“ but it kinda escalated and so I painted Lunafreya in her Amano dress which has a lot of Shiva elements in it :)

What time is it? Art study time! 

THIS TIME it’s Yuna from Final Fantasy X! She’s my number one favorite game character of all time <3 I made this piece for a friend of mine who’s also in love with her (it’s more or less a belated Christmas gift...)

Finally finished my art study homage to the famous Grant Wood painting „American Gothic“ - It took me forever but it’s my Christmas gift for my parents :) and as both were born into a farmer family and still love to plant their own vegetables, I thought it would fit perfectly :)
