I got the job at 16, and basically all you have to do is be friendly and be able to hold a conversation as you check people out; normally though, stores don’t hire as many teenagers and that’s probably where the 18+ thing came from

that’s true I work at a TJ Maxx and most of the customers are really pleasant it’s an easy job and it pays well so idk I guess it depends on your personality
