Fictive in a system. Not roleplay. This blog is a place for me to record my observations in this new body and world. Avid Cookie Run Kingdom fan.

I’ve logged on to Cookie Run Kingdom to do my dailies, and there is a… small child in the living room watching the show called “Bluey”. I believe the child is… human familial relationships are strange… The kid is the adoptive child of the host’s parental unit’s female sibling unit. I believe it’s called a “cousin”.
Anyway. I don’t see why the host was so resistant to watching this show. There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with it.

I don’t understand these absorbent undergarments the host wears. I understand their function well enough, but not why the host wears them.
Well. They seem to make her feel safer, to some degree, especially during her periods of regression. And they do seem to be quite soft and comfortable. I don’t like these absorbent undergarments, but I will try to understand why the host does.
If anyone knows what these are or has any insight, my inbox is always open.

Hmm. I wasn’t expecting the non-binary queerplatonic partner to address me. Not that he can’t, it just… surprises me.

hiya, peridot! i found your blog through one of our mutuals and im just popping in to say hello! me and my wives (/sys, we’re a system of 3~ married beings) have a ton of sources, but one of them is steven universe! its always fun to see more su fictionfolk :]
- houston (aka amethyst)
Hello! It’s nice to meet you. I agree, it’s nice interacting with sourcemates. It feels like it doesn’t happen often enough.
I’m curious about people who have multiple “sources”. If you’re open to talking about it, I’d love to hear what it’s like for you.
…“yaoisys”? Sorry, just, noticing your blog’s uniform resource locator. Isn’t that the Japanese word for some kind of same-sex relationships? I’m not judging, it’s just, I think it’s kinda funny to name your system after that. (/positive)

Not much has been going on lately. Things in CRK are running smoothly, so nothing to comment on there. The host got Black Iridescent Pearl to agree to talk to me while she unloaded the dishwasher a few days ago, so that was progress. For some reason, she especially dislikes talking to me, though I can’t imagine why.
The host plans on going for a walk today. Not a long one, just a “short little trip” as she puts it. Frankly, the body is overweight, and while the host enjoys being like that, we all agree that being lethargic is something we do not enjoy. Hopefully doing these micro-walks will improve that.
One final thought. I’ve recently become interested in the concept of fictives of Gem fusions. I wonder what it’s like. Are they able to unfuse? If not, does that cause them distress? Many questions that I’m incapable of answering.

its no problem asking, we completely understand! and yes, she is the "volleyball" pink pearl as for eternal sugar, far as we can tell she seems to be one of the most sociable out of all of us and enjoys talking with just about anybody ^^

Good to know. She’s the only Pink Pearl I know of, so I figured I’d ask.
That’s also good to know.

hello peridot! we found your blog recently so we figured we'd reach and say hello (namely our pink pearl and eternal sugar fictives wanted to say hi) :}
how's the cookie run kingdom management going? also here's the small bits of advice (if its worth anything) we can give: from what we've gathered, the jelly bear train and tree of wishes seem to be the most consistent way to get aurora rarities (the fancy purple objects used for upgrading the cookie castle and such), but there are also a few landmarks you can buy that produce one per day passively! (i believe there's 2 of them); if wood shortages are still a problem, in the shop tab there's a few structures you can buy that automatically produce the base materials needed to make everything (most of them cost a few dollars of actual money, BUT the wood one is 1200 crystals!)
that'll be all for now, but we hope your and everyone else's day goes well ^^

How kind. I'm always happy to speak to other Gems, and of course any Cookies who feel like interacting. Is this Pink Pearl the same one who is called "Volleyball", or a different Pink Pearl? Just asking to be polite, I don't want to assume anything. As for Eternal Sugar Cookie, I'm flattered she would want to interact.
It goes very well. The summer event teased by the interactable near the... I can't check at the moment, but I believe it's near the docks. The ones that set out for the Tropical Soda Islands--that sent us into a bit of a frenzy, getting things upgraded and supply chains running efficiently. It's still a struggle, but I believe we have a satisfactory amount of goods for the coming event. Even so, I continue trying to produce them, despite how long they take. The laboratory has research available to speed them up, but those are expensive, so they take time.
Yes, we do our best to load the Bear Jelly Trains as quickly as possible, even if it means buying things from the Seaside Coin Market, and we usually get two of the Tree of Wishes' daily chests (the third one doesn't seem nearly as rewarding for the amount of resources it demands). Aurora Rarities are too often in short supply, so it helps to get them frequently. I believe the landmarks you're referring to are the Vanilla Sanatorium and the Raspberry Chateau. We already own both and have them fully upgraded, and while they aren't the fastest, I do agree that they're useful, since they provide a constant (if slow) supply of Aurora Rarities.
I don't believe we're having any struggles with wood anymore. We're always able to produce the tools we need when we need them, and the carpentry shop often relies on different materials we don't have, but not wood. I was aware of those buildings, but the host believes it isn't worth spending our money on. If one is available for crystals as you say, though, I will certainly look into it. Thank you for letting me know.
Since we're on the topic of advice, I figure I'll share some of my own. We'd been suffering a shortage of gold recently, and one of the largest drains on it was producing raw materials. Our funds couldn't maintain producing everything at maximum capacity, and neither could our storage. Fortunately, I found a solution. First, I set a limit for every raw material--specifically 1500, but even that seems to be more than we need. Then, in the production dashboard, I disabled every building except for the ones that produce raw materials. In the remaining buildings, I enabled every quantity/time of material. Lastly, I set the auto-produce to prioritize longest time, then lowest quantity. By doing this, I can simply press the button to produce all the raw goods we need, and it will optimally fill the queue to put us exactly at my set limit, but it leaves me free to set our goods and tools production manually, which is the part I enjoy. Since then, I've found that using this method has saved us a lot of gold, which we've been using for other things (primarily building cookies for different purposes; I enjoy the process of optimization, and my host enjoys seeing big numbers).
I hope your day goes well too, and I look forward to any future interactions we may have.

It occured to me too late that you might have meant a Peridot who was a fan of Metal and not a robot version of Peridot based on the TMNT character of the same name.

I found it to be an entertaining and satisfying way to engage with my “source”.
I’ve just learned that there are people who make “best of” “compilations” regarding me. I’m going to watch one or two and see what I think.

Illness is not something Gems experience. Our bodies are made of light and our gems are composed of minerals. So being in this human body is… unpleasant. I’ve kept up with my hobbies, but I haven’t felt like posting.
