Hey guys! Here's my first artwork from the series of seven artworks that I'm making for Sonic x Shadow Generations.

More context: The name of this artwork shows the disturbance that Shadow felt. In every way, emotionally, physically, and mentally. He knew that something is changing. Something is out there, lingering up in the space, back in the Space Colony Ark. The composition of this painting is to show his determination towards his goal as the soul of his long lost friend Maria watches over him whilst he remembers her. And is of course about to face more triggering events that are going to make him relive his trauma.

thinking about how au!guqqie’s biggest fear was succumbing to the nature of her maker, of being what hera wanted her to become - cruel. a monster. a mirror image to the very core. but au!guqqie didn’t. she did not fulfill the prophecy hera threatened her with, even when her head became full of memories of countless tragic lifetimes led by variants of herself and her girlfriend, countless lives of pain and death and tragedy. even when she became jaded, when she knew at last what she was… au!guqqie did not hurt people. not on purpose. and, despite what hera wanted her to believe, this made her her own person. she was always real, clone or not. and, ironically, hera gave her the tools to ensure that she would be.
