hey my dudes and whatnot- why is household income on the homestuck survey??

From the front page of the survey:

“The survey is an attempt to comprehensively understand the community demographics and viewpoint of the Homestuck community in 2019, covering a broad set of questions relating to identity, political viewpoint, opinions on media, and consumption of content.”

Household income is essentially a way of estimating socioeconomic status, which falls under the attempt to understand audience demographics. All information on the survey is both anonymous and is for internal use only. 

Also, all the questions relating to personal details and demographics are optional, so if you’d prefer not to disclose any of that information, that is completely fine.

Is the show ever planning on taking direct suggestions & feedback for things like episode quality or potential topics from its listeners? Since the show is monetized now, it'd especially be nice that at least patrons could give word on things they wish to hear talked about or things that could be improved on, especially since they're paying to listen. Side question: Is tumblr going to remain the only place to ask things? It's not as accessible or easy to find link wise, even on the website..

All of the things you’ve included in this ask are accessible in the Discord (the easiest way to interact with the podcast and other listeners). There are patron-specific channels etc., but everyone is welcome to give their feedback on the show.
