We're at a stoplight and Soph says, "Don't you have any American music?" She's referring to patriotic songs. So I put on The National Anthem. They sang their little hearts out and I didn't even realize they knew the whole thing. I checked them out in my mirror, and this is what I saw...hands on their hearts. Then Soph says, "We should take this to school." Mia replies, "We can't because it will make people mad." You know what? That's really sad. My children feel like they can't sing their own National Anthem in public for fear of ridicule and being bullied. I'm proud of my patriotic kids. Getting a late start today on my daily ritual, but that's ok because the way I take my supplements is completely customizable.
