✧.* The Small Things ✧.*

Enjoy the small things in life. Today I took myself on a date. I went to a cute coffee shop and got a vanilla latte. I sat in my favorite window seat and read my new book. Some people might say "That's boring." I would say it was perfect. I listened to calming classical music in my headphones. I people watched and thought about how beautiful people are when no one is looking. ( well I was.. not in a creepy way!) I felt the fresh pages from my cozy mystery book. I smelt vanilla & coffee. I heard light chatter through my headphones. It was amazing. I was enjoying myself. This is why I want you to learn to enjoy the small things in life.

Summer is when I truly feel happy. The warm breeze against my skin and the smell of berries fresh from the garden. Summer is beautiful. I love beach trips with my toes in the sand. I love camping and looking at the stars. I believe if you look hard enough you can find beauty in every season. What's your favorite thing about summer days?

Hey Angels! Reminder: Self Care is very important! I want you guys to focus on Self Care this week! Here are some ideas on what you could do. Self Care is productive <3 It's all about balance.

Watch your favorite show

My current favorite show is pretty little liars! If you like vampire diaries you should def watch pretty little liars like I did! If you don't have a favorite show this is a great time to find one!

Eat some Ben and Jerry's (Ice cream)

I've recently tried The tonight dough from Ben and Jerry's and it was soo good. What's your favorite kind of ice cream? My favorite is cherry garcia!

Make a warm drink

you could make coffee, tea, warm milk, etc. I love snuggling up with a warm blanket and drink on rainy days. If it is a hot day you could try your fav drink iced!

Take a hot shower

I love hot showers after a long day. when you get out of the shower put on some lotion. If you want to go all out put on a face mask or paint your nails!

Stretch

I've talked about stretching on other posts before. It's just a really good way to get out of bed without doing anything too crazy. when stretching you really can relax and get in touch with your body.

Heyy, Angels! I love having cute sleepovers with my BFF. It can be hard to have ideas for sleepovers. I want you guys to know some of my favorite things to do at sleepovers along with some new ideas of my own. Grab your pencil and journal. Lets get our cute sleepovers planned. Enjoy!

Go to a coffee shop

Dress up in a cute outfit. Bring a bag with a book and study supplies. Walk to your local coffee shop and try each others favorite drink. Talk to your friend about life and chill.

Paint nails

Put on cozy socks and cute face masks. Play you and your friends favorite show. Me and my friend watch Pretty little liars! If you don't have a favorite show you both like I recommend looking!

movie & popcorn

What's your favorite movie? Mines Coraline. watch each other's favorite movies and microwave some popcorn. Relax and grab blankets and pillows!

Learn a dance

Learn a dance choreography off of YouTube! Have fun and don"t be afraid to mess up. when you guys are done show the dance to a sibling or parent.

Deep talk

Get serious with your friend. Tell each other secrets and about things that you don"t think you have ever told anyone about yourself. Friends keep secrets.

Go to the mall

Go to the mall! Me and my BFF love going to barns and noble and Starbucks. whats your favorite store in the mall?

photo shoot

Get dressed up in your cutest outfits. take tons of photos. If you need ideas look at Pinterest! Print your favorite photos at the end for memories.

Hey angels! If we are going to have a great summer we need to reset. Do you need a refreshing reset? I have one for you! step by step. Get ready for the best summer yet. Enjoy!

Clean & organize

Get the dirty work done and over with! pick everything off the floor and counters. get rid of old clothes. do your laundry. grab cleaning supplies. wipe down all surfaces in sight. last but not least vacuum and sweep. you got this. listen to music or a podcast for background noise.

exercise & stretch

Go to the gym or watch a video on youtube. You can also go on a run or walk. Lilly Sabrie is my fav workout YouTuber. Boligates is my fav person to stretch with. Don't be too hard on yourself. This summer we will take care of our bodies.

Self Care

Self care can be done through many things. Putting on face masks. Painting your nails. Taking a warm shower. Watching your fav show. You have worked really hard. Remember self care can be productive!

Reflect

grab your journal and reflect. How has life been? What's on your mind? What can you do differently this summer? If journaling is not your thing you could go on a walk. Really just let go of anything that's not serving you.
