i know i haven't posted in a while, it's maybe cuz i've been feeling a lot of things lately. wrote this poem tonight, so wanted to share it with you :)
...
satiation
is the rain
i expect
in the midst of hot summer
incredibly juvenile
but repenting demands
seeping through the cracks
of the spirit
that still lingers
to receive a taste
of what belonged to her
deserved; but not considered so
even with growing up faster than comprehension
the faults seemingly remained
because grieved they had
for what could be the scene
if not for that one thing
that broke it all into big shards
a piece; each of its own
seperate
divided
alone
its own person
own place
complete
with the groans
regrets
pain

have you ever known how it feels to be touched and not feel repulsed enough to think of drawing yourself back, but rather revel in the euphoria of the sensation that surfaces? i'd known once, and it made me fly. i wonder if i'll ever feel that way anymore, something similar to what a junkie feels like when they've hit their high, when a child who'd lost his favourite toy, found it ages later, when you're floating on top of your senses because finally, there's a way to feel happiness on your own accord.
you're safe and small, and everything feels like sunshine. everything is good, everything is nice. you're okay, and you're mine.
