I feel like Tez would be very confused because he feels like the only thoughts he are allowed to have, are that of his duty to Ketheric. Therefore, he would not have a reaction either [unless, of course, he is far enough away from Moonrise Towers ;) ] .

Tezrias still doesn't know how to feel emotions. Being under Ketheric's control for the last 10 years of his life has really...taken a toll on him. But here recently, he may have just found the light that could show him the way out of the dark place that he is in. <3

Whenever Zili is in pain, he tends to keep it to himself. He thinks that feeling pain is a weakness; a distraction.

This part of him is a secret, but I suppose I could tell you. He doesn't think that appearances are important, it is what is on the inside that counts. (Don't ask him about this because he will shut you out so hard).

Vorian's strongest emotion would have to be hatred towards his parents and sister. Mainly his father. During the storm that took their lives and he survived, his father turned his back on him and chose to save his sister. So any thought that surfaces about his family, you better not be in his path.

The Gilded Cage and the Scent of Brimstone

Vorian Hallow was born under a crimson moon, his infant cries tinged with the faint crackle of hellfire. A beautiful Mephistopheles Tiefling that was a damning testament to the price of his family's ambition.

He was not loved; he was curated. Tutors drilled him in politics, arcane theory, and the delicate art of manipulation. His parents treated him as a valuable and dangerous asset. He was their infernal seal to be polished and displayed when necessary; kept under lock and key.

His sister, Elara, was born five years after him; disappointingly human. She was the family's public face. While Vorian was sequestered away with ancient texts, Elara was paraded at galas. The jealousy that festered in Vorian's heart was cold; a lump of obsidian.

The Storm, the Choice, and the Silence

When Vorian was 27, the Hallow family embarked on a sea voyage to Waterdeep; Elara was to be married.

Days into their journey, the sky turned a bruised, sickly purple. The sea began to heave and boil. Vorian was thrown overboard. When he came up to gasp for air, he saw his family clinging to a large piece of the shattered mass.

Vorian was closer to them. He called out and reached a hand towards his father. In his father's gaze, he could se the choice he already made; to save the pure one.

His father turned his back on him.

As he struggled, he heard it. A sound like deep, booming laughter seemed to roll from the clouds. Another monstrous way came and dragged his family beneath the surface. Vorian watched them disappear into the black depths before everything went silent and still.

The Voice in the Thunder

Vorians' obsession with the storm that has both destroyed and liberated him grew. He learned of Talos; the god of chaos and divine fury.

He knelt before the altar of Talos in the city sewers and offered his broken soul to him. Talos answered by flooding Vorian with dark divine magic; the magic of deception, illusion, and violence.

The Coming Storm

Today, Vorian Hallow is a rising power in the shadows of Baldur's Gate. To the public, he is a dispossessed noble with a tragic past; his infernal heritage now a source of exotic allure rather than shame. He trades secrets, brokers deals, and seduces the powerful.

But in the city's underbelly, he teaches them that the structures of society, law, and nobility, are lies designed to keep the weak in their place.

His Goal

Vorian seeks to orchestrate a catastrophe so profound, it will shatter the city's foundations. He wants to stand atop the ruins of his family's manor and laugh.

The Mark of the Unwanted Zilithir Vatul was not born into darkness, but was born with its brand on his soul. In the filth and desperation of the port city's underbelly, a Tiefling child was a misfortune. He was a secret kept in a back room, a whisper behind a closed door. His only education came from discarded books and the venomous sermons of a street preacher he could overhear, decrying the "hell-spawn" that walked among them. Zilithir was not abandoned in an orphanage; that would have been a public admission of their shame. Instead, they hailed a boat and sailed the treacherous waters to Baldur's Gate. When they arrived, his father left him there with a handful of copper and the cold advice to, "learn to be a shadow, for the light will never have you."

Personality: Zilithir is the epitome of calm and control. He is patient, observant, and speaks in a calm tone that can be more terrifying than any shout. He possesses a hypnotic charisma derived from his Asmodean bloodline, which he uses to disarm and manipulate. Beneath the surface of this perfect control, lies a profound well of melancholy and loneliness; a truth he would never admit to anyone.

The Paradox of the Heart: He remains pansexual in his silent appreciation of others but, he sees romance and physical intimacy as the ultimate folly. To love someone would be to willingly sign up for the agony of watching them decay and die one day.

Villainy: Zilithir is not a cackling mad man. He is a quiet, creeping decay. He finds a unique pleasure in chaos. To face him, is to face an enemy who will out-think, out-plan, and out-live you in every conceivable way.
