I SAW THE ANIMANIACS IN CONCERT UK LIVE SHOW!!!

I made this fanart for Randy and Rob (as well as stickers of the characters), I gave it to them and THEY LOVED IT!!!

I also wrote a note for each of them saying how awesome the show and they are, here are the doodles I made for those notes

They gave me a signed poster and SIGNED MY ANIMANIACS BAG!!!!

Bonus recycling the traditional assets I made into a mini A5 collage.

It was one of the best days of my entire life!!! Thank you everyone who made this concert and TV show possible! Truly a dream come true 🫶

And so it begins, they announce the UK show, I'm jaw dropped, and my family buy us tickets as a birthday gift for me yippeeeee <3

Then I had a few weeks until the show, a pencil in my hand, and a dream. I decided to make fanart to give to them after the show, but what inspiration could I possibly use-

Genius!

(As you can see I tried my best to de-code the headline Randy was covering up ON PURPOUS, I gave up and made something up myself, I even tried to make it rhyme in tune with the Variety Speak song (which took way longer than it should have 💀). At the show he did reveal the headline which gave me closure at the time... but unfortunately I forgot what it said since I was trying not to cry from joy, so I guess it will forever be a mystery 😔)

I also tried to replicate the theatre stage from VERY limited reference photos and tried to predict what the stage irl was gonna look like, I was kinda close 👀. I eventually scrapped the zoomed out stage for 2 reasons: 1) The characters I drew wouldn't be as clearly visible when printed (especially the lab mice), and 2) by the time I got to rendering I was running out of time and had under 1 week to finish it.

Anyways I drew the characters/assets traditionally since it's the most comfortable for me and it's my whole thing 😎, mixed media aah moment. I scanned the final images onto the computer (the scale was smaller than A5 btw, I like drawing small) And then I locked in rendering the final image.

And boom I printed the images onto photo paper for the first time and nothing went wrong right?...right? 👁👁

Oh boy I hope you like reading my retelling of a paniced artist.

(So I had only 8 sheets of photo paper. I did 1 test print in case something went wrong but it was perfect, so perfect that I could save paper and print out one more- oh wait no no...I misspelled so many words...oops. Ok quick edit and boom we're so back, 2 prints done and ready to package into a little bag (with stickers made from A4 sheets of sticker paper I had to cut out with a craft knife). The day of the concert arrives, I check everything, I decide to add notes into the bags just incase I freeze up and forget how to communicate with them... hang on what is this smudge? Why wont it come off, WHY IS IT GETTING WORSE?!?! Oh god EMERGENCY NEW PRINT, I try do it quickly from my phone, It starts printing just fine- ERROR THE PRINTER HALF ARSED THE PRINT...WHYYYYYYY, QUICKLY SET UP MY LAPTOP, I HAVE TO GO IN A FEW MINUTES, HURRY UP AND PRINT, IT TAKES FOREVERRRRR AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, lunch break, It finished finally phew. Carefully packaged up and off to london I went, and the rest is history. I started with 8 sheets of photo paper...now I have 3 left 💀)

Anyways that smudged photo wasn't that bad and to some unnoticeable, but for me as gifting standards it was unacceptable, so I kept it and framed it and its going on my wall with the signed print :)

I painted a little tribute to my favourite mousey show!

It's a small (roughly A5) canvas with a cel on top (and by cel I mean a thin sheet of plastic from some packaging, all painted with acrylic.

My favourite part was painting the blueprint background with all the references.

The cel/sheet of plastic; I had to paint backwards on this thing! The hardest part was making some colours match up since acrylic likes to dry very quickly

I tried to scan the image but I don't like how it looks, I think it's because the edges were too curved so too much white leaked through unfortunately.

Bonus fun fact: I actually own this Animaniacs cel from the episode Space Probed, this gave me the inspiration to make my own cel!

How did I get it? Somehow it ended up at a carboot sale being sold for waaaay cheeper than it should have been, I recieved it as a birthday gift and the rest is history!

I did character studies on the mice so I could draw them accurately while still remaining in my artstyle (I probably spelled things wrong but idc). Why are they so hard to DRAW 😭 bruuuuh, I'll get the hang of it...

ROMY!!!! For those who don't know, he is Pinky and Brain's canonical biological merged clone/child...not even joking, its canon, I'm serious (Still cant believe this episode was real, watch the episode called "Brinky" for context, he also was in a comic but I forgot which issue). This sucker was the easiest to draw somehow 😭

A summary of what happened (I decided to rewatch random episodes of the series, now I'm back in the fucking building again!!! /snapcube ref)

I have ideas I will provide 0 context for...you'll have to wait and see if I ever carry these ideas to the finish line Ooooo (some probably not, but others yes)

(OLD ART BELOW) I used to draw them like this, Brain has a small head wtf, Pinky's eyes have a small gap between them also i gave him extra fluffy ears for fun, and their bodies are too human, not enough mousey proportions. (These are life sized pinky and brain cut outs I made for Halloween in 2021 which I still think is pretty cool despite the older art, they are 4 inches and 6 inches...life sized 😭💖.)

I forgot how large of a scale this hyperfixation is...so be prepared (if I end up posting lots of stuff lol, I post whatever I want here lol)

Don't panic Smg4 fans who follow me! (which might be most of you) I'm still hyped about Smg4 (I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE CURRENT ARC), but you may have to deal with the fact I have a lot of other interests, and I'm remembering how much I LOVE THESE FUCKING LAB MICE (and warner siblings, and all of animaniacs lol). If you guys like these shows too then YIPPEEEEEEE

I love both 90's shows so much. I love Animaniacs, I LOVE Pinky and the brain. And I really like the reboot (despite the few issues it had, still wish they hired Tom Rugger to get involved, HE WASNT EVEN TOLD ABOUT IT till it was too late, bruuuuuuh)

Part 15 is ofc a reference to my favourite smg4 movie, It's gotta be perfect, I love it when characters get traumatised <3. The background was cool to do, I added some references 🤭

I drew the assets traditionally and edited them and drew backgrounds on krita, then animated it all together on capcut, idk how either, lots of trial and error thats for sure :')

Idk what this style of art is called but I used LOTS of materials for it (card, sequins, stick on gems and pearls, feathers, ribbon, paint, coloured pencils, a broken bag, etc.)

The sun is a reference the Mapletea animatic "the beginning", in fact this whole drawing is based on the idea of these characters meeting for the first time.

this page was based on the theory that Smg3 gave Smg4 'the crave cheddar statue' as a gift, before the Mario's plane trip episode, after Boopkins disregarded it in the ceo of rizz episode, replacing that gift with a rock for Miku. The statue was seen in Smg4's luggage along with one of Smg3's bombs, coincidence? I think NOT! 👀

There is also another doodle for Bob's podcast, I might finish that one too one day, I just need to be inspired enough to draw it 😭.

This is a collage all about me!!! (Well.. not EVERYTHING, or we'll be here all day, but roughly my ✨️aesthetic✨️ if you will lol. Colourful and fun but at the same time edgy as hell...yeah thats me alright!)

And guess what, ya'll won't believe this if your a long time follower...ITS TRADITIONAL ART 🤯🤯🤯 WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED THIS :OOOO (I scanned the image in my printer and it looked so cool, it reminded me of dvd quality but in a good and nostalgic way <3)

Anyways, I decided to get experimental so instead of planning a collage, I just make a beautiful mess with A LOT of mixed media. At first I was a bit worried this wasn't gonna turn out very good, but I was able to pull it off in the end and I ended up liking this piece, being experimental is fun and scary :D

You could say this background is what it looks like in my brain when I think of art ideas, and no, there aren't 5+ little people in my brain who represent my emotions lmao.

Sooooo, this was surprisingly hard to find online but I think I found it. (It wasnt even on the website for the shop I bought it at)

Short answer: Jakks Pacific 9 inch shadow plush. (Idk what wave because I've seen multiple waves with the same plush)

I just bought him from a local shop for I think under £10 (yeah im british lol, Miku doesnt like me 😔 /j)

This plush is a Jakks Pacific one and is 9 inches. I got it from one of these bundles on display, each sold separately.

When ever I tried finding the single plush it was marked as a 30th anniversary item and was over priced.

You're gonna have to do your own research if you wanna buy the plush from somewhere cuz idk where he'd be sold, what I found was the dispatcher, but I hope this helped you find the brand 👍

Shadow and Maria Collage/painting

Inspired by the amazing Dark Beginnings series on YouTube

(I tried scanning this on my printer, mixed results though, it's not as vibrant as I hoped it be)

Process and pointing out details bellow :D

I started with a little cute idea of shadow watching the Aroura Borialis in a field of lilies, seemingly alone but the ghost of Maria is watching with him aww (similar to the dark beginnings episodes). I didn't really know what to do with this drawing after I finished it though...

And then it hit me...boom...a collage idea. So I made a digital sketch in ibis paint

Fun fact: I added pages from Gerald Robotnik's journal, specifically entry #589 (which is about Maria) and entry #620 (which is about how Maria gave the name Project Shadow a new meaning "A shadow can show you where to find the light"). Both entries reflect the characters very nicely and I love that detail 😌✨️

Painting (I frickin love the Aroura Borialis, also THE MOON peak, I loved every second of painting this whole thing!)

Added darker blue shading to the pencil drawing and added the lilies on top. I drew some lilies on paper then traced over them in coloured pencil with a light box

Then I cut up the drawing to look like shattard glass...or a broken record...MUHAHAHAHHA SONIC MOVIE 3 REF PERHAPS? Anyways that was also done with a sketch and the lightbox to help as a guide (I don't have photos of the process but I took photos of the guide sketches)

Starting off with this goofy ahh plushie I have.

It's always build-a-bear Shadow this and build-a-bear Shadow that, nah bro get yourself a silly tiny pancake Shadow.

I also drew studio ghibli Shadow (created by @smallpwbbles) I wish 'My brother the Hedgehog' was a full film, I'd love to see it.
