My current read is "welcome to hyunam-dong bookshop" by Hwang Bo-Reum.

Let me tell you about it:

It's a book that I have been reading for nearly 1 year now. But why? - you ask. Isn't it an easy read? My reading pace is slow for several reasons. In this instance, I have to say that the book isn't a one-seat read. Each chapter has a certain message. Sometimes, the message will go right over your head. But when you do get lucky and read it at the right time, you will find yourself closing the book and staring into the horizon.

I have been putting this book aside only because it sometimes didn't resonate in that moment. So, I took a step back and waited for the right moment. I am so glad I did.

This isn't just a book to put on your TBR and forget about it. It's a book that finds you at the right time. It's a book you will go back and re-read. It's a book which every time you read it, you will find new questions or answers.

This book is for those who aren't sure what they want in life, and are anxious whether they're on the right track. Each character teaches us different things but there is one message circulating in every one of them: there is no wrong path, do what you love, surround yourself with friends, and enjoy life.

I don't wish to spoil it any more. I have to finish it myself, first. I will write a book review on Substack, for sure.

I write about love as if I know it well. But to be frank, love and I have never officially met. We aren't even acquaintances. We are complete strangers. If we were to pass each other on the street, I wouldn't know.

Thunder reminds me of the telephone game: the clouds are whispering the same word to each other. If you close your eyes and pay attention, you can hear the pattern, the chain of whispers and giggles.

My favorite ink pen gave out while I was writing on the back of a postcard. It finally died in my hands, being loved, appreciated, and adored. It has helped me write my emotions on the tear stained paper, get over my exam anxiety, wrote letters and notes that are scattered all around my room, shoved in the deep pockets of my bags. But alas, we must part now. It has done its deed, and I'm grateful to it.

His eyes are the same shade of blue as the outside world before/after sunset. That blue that glides over you. That blue you see when you wake up too early and you happily turn in your fluffy bed and go back to sleep. That blue you see when the sky is about to put on its jewellery and have stars wink at each other.

I find watermelon remains so fascinating. You can easily tell where someone took a bite, which spot gave them joy and satisfaction. That makes me wonder if a person also feels a similar emotion when they're taking a bite off my energy. Do you feel full now? Are you content with your act? Here, bite more, I have a lot more to give. Don't hesitate.

There are student union elections at my uni this week and all student unions have set up stalls with free food and drink.

I leave a class and grab a drink/food on the way to another class.

Weather is awesome.

Life is worth living.

Maybe uni life isn't so bad.
