Today is annoying. Just for many , silly reasons thatve amounted to a bad mood in the usually chipper inventor. Crystals and filaments are cast aside as she sets to cleaning the rust off of her narrow nosed pliers, working almost with a sense of malice. She frowns intently, scrubbing fiercely at the metal as the brush squeals in protest. Today is dumb and it's stupid and she hates it!

woke up late dropped my favourite cup on the tiles and THEN slipped when closing the furnace > A >

trying to work with filaments and volatile crystals is extra stressful when my hand and arm are covered in this GROSS paste >:( this sucks im so annoyed

She smiles at the soft kiss on her cheek, looking up at her girlfriend with warm eyes. They're so beautiful. She'll have to tell her after. She moves to push her own cloak back over her shoulders as the golden stag beetle nestles against the hollow of her throat, shining next to her skin.

There's been a few tweaks to the bass now, doubled strings on every other one, the music unusual and almost beautifully eerie. Bec snuffles at Rose then licks her hand with a soft whine. This time as she plays the music with the additional notes, the sun becomes warmer and the blades of grass begin to grow. The flat blades twist, flowers gently blooming as they twine up Rose's legs and Jade's, a rich green colour, vibrant and healthy.

Sat in the usual kind of peaceful, shaded grove, Jade carefully tunes up her bass with what appears to be a tiny, golden spanner. It whirrs and clicks, settling into place as she plucks the strings to test. Nothing unusual happens during these tests, though Bec picks his ears forward at her experimental chord. Yeah, good to go.

Inside is a silver knife that rests upon cream coloured silk, it’s blade with a slight curve back and acid detailing all along the polished surface. Purple and grey stones are punctuated by pearls, the gemstones set along the spine of the blade and twisting around the handle.

Jade wiggles with a smile, any bashfulness now gone in the face of Rose's utter joy. She scoots in a little closer and leans to kiss their pale cheek. "I'll make sure you have a whetstone before you leave."
