Finally found a place to watch the rest of the 1st season with subtitles and it's just bang after banger with this one!!!

Talking respectfully and tactfully about a child with physical disabilities that died, about the class difference and how in the 50s the nobles were just as poor as their servants and encouraging a noble man to let his daughter marry an American communist because he will always love her even with no dowry, treating sex workers with respect and how they're worthy of love and happiness, talking shit about Nazis!!!! And we see and talk to people who actually suffered at their hands and how some Nazis used the Catholic church to try and get out of being tried for their crimes, letting a man who tried to kill a nazi walk free because he did nothing wrong!!!!!

Just saw the 1st episode of Father Brown, and on ep 1 we have a 1950s Catholic priest telling a gay man that no harm will come to him and that he can trust him, immediately followed by said priest getting mad at an Anglican reverend for killing his bisexual brother and letting a woman (that he supposedly loves) take the blame for him.....

Father brown, I apologize, I was not familiar with your game!!

Idk if many other skam fans like those fics where all of the versions know each other/are friends with each other, but I LOVE it!!!! I've read pretty much all of them on AO3.

And now that I'm watching sram (skam Croatia), I desperately NEED Lovro to start showing up in those!! His vibe is so interesting and different from other Isak's, that I desperately need to see their reaction to this version of them so bad!!!

Modern problems require modern solutions

Problem: the Superman family is Too Big - specifically, there are Too Many Supers and Not Enough Names.

Solution 1: Clark Kent is Superman. Kara Zor El is Supergirl. Connor Kent is Superboy. Jon Kent is Superboy.

Problem 2: two superboys. There are already, arguably, too many versions of Superboy; having two running around at the same time is even more confusing.

Solution 2: Clark Kent is Superman. Kara Zor El is Supergirl. Connor Kent is Superboy. Jon Kent is Superman.

Problem 3: similar to Problem 2. Now we have two Supermen, which was confusing enough with Superman Red and Superman Blue, which we at least colour-coded. Add in Kenan Kong's Super-Man and it's almost imparseable.

Solution 3: Clark Kent is Superman. Kara Zor El is Supergirl. Connor Kent is Superboy. Jon Kent is Superson.

Problem 4: even worse. Everybody has their own names now, but despite both Connor and Jon being Clark's sons*, Jon is explicitly labelled as such. Does Connor not deserve to be called Clark's Son? Admittedly, Clark doesn't deserve to be called Connor's Father, but that's a different kettle of fish.

Solution 4: Superman is Clark Kent. Superboy is Jon Kent. Kara gets a "promotion," gets to age up and become Superwoman. And Connor Kent becomes Supergirl. There we go; easy. I'm sure nobody could have a problem with this.

I get not liking certain characters (there are plenty of characters I don't like), but the way some of you talk about Jon Kent pre and post aging up (now and even back then) is so worrying to me... Like, these are fictional comic book characters, it is not that serious. Please get some help

Film critics shouldn't came out before the actual movie premiere date. Studios are so dumb for letting reviews out before the actual air date because of this but also because if your movie is bad, obviously nobody is gonna see it of all the reviews are bad even before it premiered

In this day and age where getting people to the theater is so hard, they should be smarter about it

Can film critics at least let movies release to the general public before they have complaints?

It keeps happening where ENJOYING the marketing of a movie and catch mild spoilers about movies I intend to see *opening day*(or as close as I can reasonably get.)

So i dont want to block *everything* about the film because I want to see the cute merch or the funny tie ins
