I’m sorry but Tae absolutely is the problem. He feeds the cult like clockwork. Both taekookers and vminers when Jungkook doesn’t play ball. Like in the ot7 live he was all up on Jimin, because JK wasn’t having it. Same as today, JK did not know about the live. I’d advise all ot7 to open your eyes to it and not to be naive

Just look at this time last year when Muse and AYS dropped. No support for Jimin and then he drops those Hawaii pics. If you don’t see it you’re incredibly naive.

Do you honestly believe that the members are on the same level as us? Do you think they have a single iota of investment in our paltry fanwars?

Correlation does not equal causation.

Do we see Tae being a little socially oblivious? Yes.

Do we see him sometimes being insensitive and clueless? Yes.

Do we see Tae being a spiteful vindictive bitch who conspires to bring his friends down? No.

Tae is clearly on good terms with the members - especially Jimin.

But he also has a whole separate friendship group who take up a lot of his time and attention, and almost definitely a private life with relationships we know nothing about.

Let's not forget his career... being part of arguably the busiest and hardest working kpop group on the planet.

And his ambassadorship with Celine and whatever other promotional work he's doing.

Plus all the admin, meetings, and managment stuff that goes along with all these different roles.

Oh and let's not forget he's just done his military service. Pretty time consuming, even after you're done with active duty.

He's pretty busy.

Maybe I am exceptionally naive

...but the way I see it, where would he find the time to pay attention to shipping politics?

And even if he had time, dont you think he'd be playing golf instead of being chronically online. Do you really think he's actually invested in the pathetic spats between shipping groups?

Do you imagine, honestly, that if you were in his place you'd be involving yourself in this nonsense?

Other than when its hurting someone they love, I doubt it's something any of them really care about. They have many other more pressing concerns.

Seriously, despite the occasional blooper with timing, I doubt Tae has so little going on in his life that he is invested in any of this trivial rubbish. And he'd have to be putting in a fair bit of time to be across the nuances and factions of the war bands.

But anon, i am not dismissing your comments without giving them some thought. If Tae was really out to feed the trkrs and vminers, what would he gain by doing so?

Influence?

He clearly has enough influence, being voted the most handsome man in the world, and having 68 million followers on insta. And lets not forget he's a member of BTS

Power?

Kinda already has that too, by virtue of his influence.

Attention?

This isn't a case of any attention is better than none. He goes on live for 3 minutes and makes news headlines. Any time he shows up, millions of other people show up, just look at the crowds (and celebrations) in Paris.

Well, lets go a little darker...

Sabotage?

What's he trying to sabotage and why? Is it Jikook? Does Jikook's actual relationship suffer when tkkers or vminers post? Does their influence or approval rating fall? or is it just the shippers who get upset?

I think its just the shippers.

But if he was honestly trying to cause harm, wouldn't the fallout on Tae himself be worse than any damage he could do to jikook? If he seriously compromised their relationship or reputation, the other members, the managment company, and his two best friends in BTS would all distance themselves from him.

Whats left? Retaliation? Boredom? Jealousy?

I think we know who the jealous person is in this relationship triangle. But I also think Tae doesn't hold back his affection to save the feelings of someone who might be offended, whether that's jealous boyfriend #1 or armys with an axe to grind.

The bottom line is this:

Even if he had nothing better to do, and even if he was so small minded that he wanted to play in the muddy little paddling pool with shippers, I can't see him stabbing his best friend in the back.

I don't support the idea that he would purposefully fuel a fire that burns Jimin more than anyone else.

If you think that, you must have a very warped idea of what a soulmate is.

And you must think very little of Tae.

And you must think Jimin would accept whatever scraps of friendship were thrown his way.

He would not. Jimin knows his own worth.

If you dont respect Tae, that's your business. But perhaps you respect Jimin enough to know he wouldn't maintain a close friendship with somone who undermined his relationship with JK.

Tae is the only member who has ever actively discouraged taekook shippers.

Now answer me this... why use the anon ask? Is it because you disagree with me? People can disagree, that's ok. But you diminish yourself - and your argument - by hiding behind anonymity. I can't respect you.
