In the scene with viggo and hiccup on toothless, and viggos rambling on about relationships and stuff, he mentions being able to empathize with hiccup (as opposed to sympathise, implying he knows exactly how he feels or has been in a similar spot) but says he "cant exactly put myself in your shoes"

Now this is probably just him manipulating hiccup. But it also has the implication that viggo was in love with a MAN, and thats why he can't exactly relate. Happy pride month

everytime i watch rtte i realize how much the 3rd movie let me down :( like viggo changed the way i see villain characters :o it’s probably because they had more time to dive into their characters with over 100 hours of media vs like 1 and 1/2 hours but i feel like a little more could have been added…

He genuinely had me tweaking too as a watcher, like the whole viggo turned nice shellshocker dragon thing made me so confused like i couldn’t tell if he was being genuine about changing or it was just apart of his plan… he played into the groups fears perfectly. Love him as a villain sm.

I genuinely believe that Viggo is the best villain in the HTTYD universe/series. He was smart and savvy and a good character that was entertaining to watch and see the characters develop to stop him and grow impressively. He was one of the biggest challenges that the group had to face, and posed to be the biggest challenge for them, because of how long it took to take him down.

I’m not saying he was the most dangerous, but he has got to be the best, or at least my favorite villain, in the httyd universe.

What if Hiccup didn't train the others to fly dragons so after defeating the Red Death Berk just accepts the fact Hiccup is there feral dragon boy. And he just keeps adopting/taking care of dragons then when Viggo, Riker, and Daguar roll around theu just see a bunch of rare dangerous dragons like the Whispering Death, and Skrill just daring them to try and hurt there babies witch are Hiccup and Toothless and on top of that he has a protective mother, a protective father, and a protective uncle figure.

To be honest I would love to see a fic were Hiccup stays on Berk and is the only rider.

I'm surprised the HTTYD fandom here hasn't gone insane over this yet, but Milkyymelodies on youtube released a hiccup villain song that isn't AI generated, and has a sick name, it's called The Human Hunter.

also if that isn't enough, you get to witness like 0.5% hiccstrid content and dragons that shouldn't breathh fire breathing fire.

and a hobblegrunt that looks it was hit by a truck. and stepped on. it's hilarious.

i headcanon that the one notable human that every dragon from berk remembers post-thw is not hiccup, but gobber, because he fixed their teeth

i love the live action httyd 😭 like it’s almost identical to the animated one and i love that sm !!! there’s new scenes and the took out a few and even changed a few but i’m so glad to get new httyd content after like 7 years !!! I struggle to watch the same movies rlly close together so having a live action to watch is nice!!! I’m not even gonna ACT like the visuals aren’t serving too like ofc it’s not gonna be a copy of the OG but that’s the charm to it!!!!! The live action rlly ignited the same dragon rider dream that the OG gave me when i was little ☹️ now there is a few things i have complaints about (toothless design being more httyd3 like, not including the terrible terror scene, no THE BARMAID SCENE) but i still loved the movie over all🫩

she was really weird and quirky in comparison to other Berk vikings

she couldn't even kill a dragon, always finding those rather interesting to watch than fearing them

yes, she was very strange...

but somehow he loved her with all of his heart, especially for those strange parts of her soul...
