Had a lot of fun playing Munchkin last night. I was on track to win but on my last turn I hilariously lost all my levels. I couldn't even be mad because it was so beautiful.

Wait where is this retro gaming night I must have these

3d printed some pixel Mario Family hats, ostensibly because I might give them away to anybody that shows up to my Retro Game Night next Tuesday but mostly just because I can.

I think it's kinda interesting how I never got a chance to read these beautiful comics but I obviously just wanna be Jack Kirby.

Happy 100th Birthday, Jack Kirby
As today August 28, 2017, Jacob Kurtzberg, AKA Jack “The King” Kirby, one of the medium’s most influential and prolific artistic and creator legends of the comic book history has been turned 100 years old. Who’s created and co-created a multitude of Marvel and DC’s most popular characters and many others. Such as the Fantastic Four, New Gods, X-Men, Captain Victory, Etrigan the Demon, Thor, Kamandi the Last Boy on Earth, Hulk, Etc. His legacy lives on every character he created and in the hopes he put on all of them.
“The characters represent a sort of transcendent feeling we all have inside us; that we could do better. We want to do better. We have the time to do better. We can be the people we lionize.” ~ Jack Kirby

How is everyone's answer not A Lifetime?
Here’s a different question
Let’s say you were given the opportunity to take a break from your life. By going up to a cabin in the woods. With a 5 mile hike to the nearest other place - which is only a place to buy food and supplies. Someone says to you, here’s your chance to rest. Go up to the cabin and rest for as long or as little as you like. And when you come back, you can just pick up where you left off. No matter how long you’re gone, magically, it’ll only be 1 day later when you come back.
How long would you stay there for your “rest”? How much of a break from your life would you take in order to feel completely rested?
I think 8 months.

I prefer vampire hunting kits with red velvet lined cases and lots of little compartments, but this is still super great.

An antique vampire killing kit that was carried by some European travelers during the mid to late 1800s.
