On top of cosmetic purposes, one could see it as a good luck charm.” [ and at this thought he smiles. there is nothing needed more in these times than good luck. ] “Then that must mean we both are. You see, the good luck charm must be at work already ! How enormously fortunate that we should both be fine.”

      ( the alacrity he exudes engenders a smile of her own, & her touch abandons the hinge of his jaw if only to take the hand he presses to her cheek betwixt her own. it is fortunate that they’ve left their stargazing endeavor immensely unscathed, & the only immediate damage they’ve endured was a yellowing bruise upon porcelain -- & a shock at the sudden flames. she had no interest in pursuing what lied ahead -- they were safe, kindred spirits passive by nature. besides, the worry that boiled in her veins is for the well-being of their lavender and less for her livelihood. the fear of loss subsided; he is here. this is what matters. )     ❛    i had never thought violence would suit me, but perhaps the mere aesthetic of it compliments the hazel. however, i have no desire to do any purposeful infliction.     ❜    ( smiling, still, pandora offers a gentle squeeze. )     ❛    but i do think it’s unfair that i’m hoarding all the luck, xeno.     ❜

       ( accepting the leaf with an extended half, pandora flashes a grateful smile -- nodding slightly to indicate the lightest of thank yous. )     ❛    well, now that you’ve given something to me, it’s only customary i give something to you ! though, i’m afraid it isn’t much; i’ve yet to pick more before the season leaves us.     ❜    ( with that, she reaches into her messenger to procure to sprigs of lavender -- placing both in doris’ hand. )     ❛    lavender is really only credited with its scent, but it’s an incredibly protective plant ! it works wonders on the nerves.     ❜
