There was a live event for Yamashita (Deku VA) & Masuda (Kirishima VA)’s bi-weekly radio show, and they re-enacted the “I want to see your cute face” line as Deku & Kirishima. Here is the full transcription of what happened. Kirishima says the line to Bakugou, and fans explode.

During the Afternoon Showing

Prompt: Maboroki-kun (nickname for Todoroki’s Illusion) was awesome! Kacchan also did it, which was unexpected! Let’s have Deku-kun and Kirishima-kun also say the line “I want to see your cute face!”

Yamashita & Masuda: Okay, let’s do it!

Yamashita: So how should I do this? Who am I saying this to…?

Okamoto: ALL MIGHT!!

Yamashita: All Might!? (laughs) But if Deku is doing it then I feel like he would say it to Eri-chan! Or even Katsuma-kun [from the HEROES RISING movie]! Let me change it a bit. “I want to see your cute face!” Is that good? Okay, here I go!

Deku (super cute voice): I want to see your cute face…!

Audience: Kyaaa~ *applause*

Yamashita: Okay, Kirishima-kun is up next!

Masuda: Uh…so what kind of situation is it? What would be the best setting?

Who am I saying this to…?

Yamashita: Hmmm (laughs)

Okamoto (like a call from God): BAKUGOU!!

*Audience chatters*

Yamashita: All right, let me step aside for this then. (laughs)

Yamashita heads to the back of the stage.

Masuda and Okamoto stare at each other.

Yamashita (suddenly narrating): One day, at a cafe…

Kirishima: I…I uh…I want to see your…c—cu—cu…cute face!!

Bakugou (in a soft and sweet tone): You idiot…

Audience: KYAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Okamoto: Wait!! (laughs). I just gagged doing this!!! It’s an illusion! Just an illusion!!!

Yamashita: This takes place in a different world!!

Masuda: (laughs)

Okamoto: I kind of wanted to do that though! Sorry! I wanted him to say something like “kyaa!” so I did it without thinking!

Yamashita: So instead of Kacchan saying something like “I’ll kill you,” he actually accepted that compliment, right!? (laughs)
