Ok so this is really vague and based off my admittedly bad memory, but I remember reading somewhere that one of the original reasons turf war became a thing was because inklings and octolings, especially when they're young but also just overall, are an intrinsically and instinctually highly violent species and play-fights like that help them blow off steam. I have NO idea where this shit came from or why it's been a piece of the lore in my head for years, but I'm not great at lore digging- is there any indication of this in like, the art books or games or something, or is this just 14-year-old me making personal canon and forgetting it wasn't real? I would like to uh. Resolve the mental confusion 😅 have a nice day :]

She’d drawn us dancing together on my birthday last year. The pose I referenced reminded me a lot of it and I just had to redraw the picture with her and I. The outfits were ones she originally designed too!

Oh I had so much fun making this!! DO YALL SEE THOSE DRESS FOLDS, THE RUFFLES?? I FORGET HOW MUCH FUN THOSE ARE WHEN THEY TURN OUT RIGHT. IM LOWKEY OBSESSED RN. I really should draw more people in dresses. Sure would be a shame if this gave me an excuse to draw my wife more.

I finally made an official ref for my persona (which will be up on artfight)!

I’ve been thinking so much about all the little stories she gets stuck in and jacks up, I just had to give her a much more finalized design. To be honest, I thought I wouldn’t like how simple her dress ended up is but it’s honestly really grown on me in that regard. I never expected the one off white base to stick but here we are! I’ll probably design other fits eventually but for her main one? Yeah, I really like this :3

ALSO PEEP THE HANDS. HELLO? I EVEN GOT THE NAILS LENGTH ACCURATE (as of typing this). I USUALLY JUST GIVE HER SHORT ONES. I’m so incredibly proud of how this turned out. I think it has a lot of personality compared to my usual references! Like, if she wasn’t a persona she woulda ended up at the front of my character list on artfight. Alas, she got banned to the back with Arenaida (my spidersona). I am hoping she gets at least one attack though tbh. That’s how proud I am of her🤣 I’m willing to feed into the ego just a teeny bit🤏

So my sibling’s been playing the sims on my PlayStation, right? He’s been doing this legacy challenge thingy and was setting up this huge romance for 2 sims since they were teenagers. It had been a while since we checked on the fiancé. He went to check on the guy AND SOMEHOW HE’D HAD A BABY ALL BY HIMSELF? THEY’D BEEN DATING SINCE THEY MET. IT WAS AN INFANT. He aged it up out of spite and was harassing the father. Tell me why when we added them to the household THERE WAS NO MOTHER LISTED? AT ALL? NOT EVEN A POLLINATION TECHNICIAN. HOW DID THIS MAN COME TO HAVE A CHILD? DID HE JUST SPAWN IT OUT OF NOWHERE?? HELP?

I wanted to do something cute with what’s essentially my persona and her poor children she torments. The main kid she’s been tormenting (that’s aware of her in any verse) is currently Samson! While technically there’s an AU with my girlfriend, involving Britt, we’ve done a whole lot more with the one involving Sammy. For that he had to be damned to getting stuck in my pfp. He’ll definitely be fine and totally does not take the knowledge of me and her way too far ^^

Found out about the party costumes in Sonic Frontiers recently. WE JUST HAPPENED TO TURN THEM ON RIGHT BEFORE AN IMPORTANT TAILS CUTSCENE AND IT WAS KILLING ME SO HARD
