Found out about the party costumes in Sonic Frontiers recently. WE JUST HAPPENED TO TURN THEM ON RIGHT BEFORE AN IMPORTANT TAILS CUTSCENE AND IT WAS KILLING ME SO HARD

Needless to say Chaos island has forced my little bro and I to lock in so the only ones getting the hats are the little Koco for now. I’m sorry Sonic but you can’t be running around in those shades and that dumb hat while I watch you clutch yourself in pain all day.

The basics of this au is Sonic was missing for 5 years after Sonic Frontiers and thought to be dead and the islands were gone. Shadow then disappeared and found himself on the islands and meets...Sonic?

(The reason Shadow is on the islands was because he was seen as a chaos emerald by the security measures and brought in)

Merry Christmas, I hope you have a good time, I have a question for you, it would be curious and interesting if troll jim, krell, draal and beast jim look for traces of real Akirid energy like fialkov and troll Arthur, douxie, archie, nari, blinky, kanjigar create a space vessel to contain the energy and that vessel mixed with energy akiridianl fialkov returns to life becoming an akiridian koco while his core is regenerating inside the koco and returns to being the same as before but if his physical form is damaged Will I be an Akiridian koco again?

Sorry that it took so long to answer. Tumblr being buggy with the asks and my life being a bit chaotic isn't a good mix. As for the ask...

Akiridions are more likely to revive through a Koco vessel since they're pure energy unlike the aquatic Ancients. It's harder to dissipate as a whole so remnants of Fialkov could still be there. An interesting yet brilliant surprise especially for Krell and Aja who never thought they get a chance to their father again.

The memories of those before us can be found in the places they once were.

Haven't done a proper scenic background like this in a long while, much less in this more painted style. There were supposed to be a few Chao in this one, but they made the art feel too cluttered so they just ended up not being in this piece. Chao in this AU are just the simple creatures Chaos made as a gift to Gaia, that are also unfortunately on the verge of extinction.

While some 'Chao Gardens' exist as preserves, the majority of the Chao that are left tend to inhabit Ancient ruins (typically where Koco devices can also be found) far from civilization to not be disturbed by Mobians.

Also yes, just to confirm for those who aren't aware or caught up on this AU, Silver was one of the Ancients (along with Blaze, Tikal, Longclaw, etc - the list could go on) and is therefore dead. His memories and his prophecies live on in the Koco, one of which Sonic finds in his return to 'Christmas Island' ... His memories from when he first woke up on the island before his departure from it are fuzzy.
