So uh, am I insane or are the entirety of BLACKPINK'S Jump MVs backgrounds AI generated?

That entire MV was strange looking in general (and not in a good way) but I just cannot help but be disgusted by the fact that the only thing in that MV that wasn't artificially generated was the members themselves who are barely in the damn thing.

Like no, YG, I do not want to see fake people headbang themselves to death in a fake environment that's creation is actively leading to the destruction of this planet. Is that not disgusting?

The song is good, don't get me wrong and the Pinks look as gorgeous as ever but I am just so disgusted by their choice to AI generate their entire MV. Years of nothing and this is what we get?

And because it's the Pinks, everyone is going to gas this video up as if it is changing art as we know it because they can do no wrong or whatever but like open your eyes. The video is ugly and worst of all it sets a precedent that it is okay to destroy the planet because you just don't want to pay real artists.

Blinks please don't come after me, I love the members dearly and want to see them succeed but I cannot help being so disappointed and disgusted by this awful decision.

Tam's reason for leaving Phi is really making me want to drop The Ex-Morning. I already was not impressed by the series as I find the pacing to be both waaaay to fast and far too slow, but that's just the icing on the cake.

Idk guys, the fact that a two minute cameo from Mix being the entire reason I checked out this latest episode is not a good sign. I am watching for the cat and for Singto's gorgeous looks alone.

Will update if I drop it or not. I really hope that I don't but man I am just sooo underwhelmed by this series.

Back in my day there used to be a Mark Pakin in every Thai show you watched. Every show. Every genre. The thing that makes Reset work so damn well is that Thada is objectively an obsessed loser so it could feel creepy or pathetic but it doesn't at all because Armin absolutely matches his energy.

Their whole relationship is them taking turns saying the most insane shit you've ever heard while the other person gazes at them with heart eyes.

One thing I especially love about watching shows in languages other than the one I speak is that it inherently cannot become second screen media.

I need those subtitles to even enjoy the experience, and by proxy I’m never afforded the opportunity to do anything but watch the show in all of its glory.

I think that’s why I have such a deep attachment to so many shows in other languages. I HAVE to engage with them wholeheartedly or it doesn’t work. The only way to get value in partaking in them when you don’t speak the language comes from critical thinking and analysis.

And I think that’s beautiful

Unpopular opinion here on the writers’ preferred social media platform, but sometimes the soundtracking, acting performances, beauty of the set or cinematography, and rhythms of editing impact the viewing experience way more than the narrative we’re all arguing over. Like, writing matters, but just remember you’re engaged in a medium where that’s only one of the elements.

The character shouldn’t have forgiven them so easily? But the actor cries so pretty!

The problems feel manufactured? But the comedic timing around the prat fall was impeccable

None of the dialogue pointed to that plot point? Yes, but what about all the visual clues in the mise en scene?

That redemption fell flat to you? Well, I just spent 12 weeks watching a fantastic music video for an hour every Wednesday, so I don’t really care.
