I feel like I post soft ribbun art all the time, where they’re clearly not their show counterparts, and people—mostly on TikTok—still tell me they’re unhealthy, and like…in my art, no they’re not.

I posted a comic of Jax apologizing for going too far in their game and them sharing their feelings together and someone still commented on it that they were bad for each other 😅

Every episode makes me nervous beforehand cuz I always think okay, I hope Jax isn’t TOO mean to gangle cuz I gotta be able to spin this into ribbun content somehow LMAO

They’re not abusive or toxic or bullying each other in it. They have a brat/dom sorta dynamic haha

I don’t care if ships are unhealthy to an extent, those can be interesting and fun to explore, (I do like hannigram after all) but I personally don’t ship ribbun in that way

Wow, it's been a while since I really posted anything, huh?

I've been a big fan of Digital Circus since the release of the first episode, but have been kind of holding off on making fan art for it. Fandoms scare me sometimes lol. But I figured, it makes me happy, I want to draw it, maybe others may enjoy it, maybe not. Either way, I'd love to draw more for the show, I haven't had this much inspiration to draw since Undertale lol.

I'm scared about how it's going to end, but I absolutely love every character. They're so well written. ^^

IMPORTANT PREFACE: if you personally have any of these headcanons for purposes of processing your own trauma/emotions/experiences, this is NOT about you.

I think a big part of why the Jax SA headcanons disturb me so much is the fact that it’s Jax, the character a LOT of people find hot. Not Pomni. Not Zooble. Not Gangle, or anyone else. Jax has the most SA headcanons

In my experience, across many different fandoms, people either consciously or subconsciously enjoy seeing/imagining hot characters be sexually assaulted and then dealing with the trauma after

It’s almost always the characters the fandom finds the most attractive that get the majority of the SA headcanons

And that’s why it makes my skin crawl

It also doesn’t make me particularly happy to see people makin quirky theory posts throwing around dumb evidence, trying to piece together a character’s headcanoned assault like it’s a fun lil puzzle. It’s insulting to me, as a victim.
