What abuse does to your brain while growing up is simply unforgivable. I hurt people in the past, I acted recklessly and selfishly because I didn't know anything about love and kindness; I simply wasn't taught that.. self-hate fueled me and hurt those around me.
Putting the pieces together helped me discover my real self, which led me on a healing journey. Happy to say I'm far from what I used to be many years ago, but my prefrontal cortex is quite fucked!
