Once every few years I ask myself if maybe we're all wrong and just part of the biggest collective delusion of the century, not because the official narrative gives me doubts but because I like to make myself accountable. One of the worst parts of them pushing Harry as super sexual during the x factor (besides him being a literal child) is they likely knew/were already planning for him to be set up with Caroline and wanted to make sure everyone saw him as a sexual object, someone so confident and alluring that any women would have trouble resisting.

I remember watching 1d videos for the first time and being so uncomfortable with the the video where Harry's walking through naked and the others are passing things around to keep him covered, like thats a child???? Nobody finds this weird???

(off topic but one moment that's a direct result of him being overly sexualized that still boils my blood was during an interview for four when the host asked to see his tattoos and when he declined she literally reached over to pull open his shirt like wtf)

its genuinely so disgusting the way young harry was treated and marketed, and how it seemed to influence how he behaved too because he felt an expectation to live up to the image being pushed on him. 16 is a very impressionable age, i wouldnt be surprised if he oversexualized himself as a result of being oversexualized so often by the industry around him that it influenced how he behaved.

that clip where the boys are covering him has also always made me uncomfortable. i see a lot of old clips and gifs from like 2011-2012 where harry is being blatantly sexualized as either a minor or very fresh 18 year old and it baffles me how much of this fandom acts like that was totally fine and normal. obviously not everyone, but enough to the point its noticeable.

Okay so bad news for everyone on YouTube right now

Starting the 13th, we will have an AI determine if we are children or not and if you are a child, than you are forced to send your ID, send a selfie or a credit card

This has the obvious cons of having your privacy being revoked from you and and in case there is a security breach, major identity thefts.

So what do we do in this scenario?

Well right now I have real idea as this is relativity new to me, but I do have two plans

Plan 1. Bug the shit out of them, send letters and send emails about how much of bad idea this is.

Include why the AI will mess up and target adults who watch cartoons, include privacy issues, censorship issues, anything you can think of that relates to this. I want you guys to bug the hell out of YouTube until they reverse this idea

Plan 2. Blackout.

Since the thing is coming out on the 13th.

The plan will be to completely avoid YouTube at all cost for that day, no watching, no sharing, no uploading, no nothing.

Download videos before things go down, watch Netflix. Whatever you do, don’t touch YouTube.

i was here through elounor. through babygate. through every bit of bullshit harry was put through. it was intense, it was stressful, and being a fan during that time was exhausting because there was so much going on at once. but at the core of it — always — has been harry and louis. the point of all of this is them. it’s supporting them, helping them out of the closet, showing them we see them and we’re not going anywhere.

so the fact that people are jumping ship over a tweet? it’s insane. louis isn’t “dark larrying on main” and then “baiting and running.” he got a little too loud and now he’s being punished for it. it’s the pattern. it’s the formula. this isn’t new — we’ve seen it before. what do you expect him to do? he can’t exactly tweet “i’m gay and married to harry styles” — that’s not how this works. he’s dropping breadcrumbs. he’s trying, in the only ways he can. and yes, it comes with obstacles. yes, it’s messy. but that’s the reality of the situation and people need to understand that.
