Oh my goshhhh

I love the new Ivy look! Sure, I'm gonna miss the old pug-goblin look, but it'a so much better than the leaked cutesy redesign that completly stripped her of her charm. Love her so much.

your dashboard is supposed to be at LEAST halfway full of shit you have no context for and fandoms you're not involved in. it is the natural way of the universe
#honestly kinda reasurring post because I keep being over-anxious about posting stuff different from my “main” thing#and 90% of blogs I follow are just centered around *their* thing#this is pretty sweet message though

being anti ai is making me feel like in going insane. "you asked for thoughts about your characters backstory and i put it into chat gpt for ideas". studies have proven its making people dumber. "i asked ai to generate this meal plan". its causing water shortages where its data centers are built. "ill generate some pictures for the dnd campaign". its spreading misinformation. "meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is impletmenting ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here?

Been working on more Pony SAW designs (the urge to draw SAW fanart but not having enough skill to draw humans well yet T-T), and I'm right now stuck on Gordon's / Lawrence's color palette.
I'd honestly love to experiment a bit and not just settle on blonde mane 'cause of his hair, but... I don't know, I am not sure which of these is more visually interesting, and would work both with his I and VII outfit. So I'd be more than happy to hear some feedback on these:
-I'm also open to suggestions of completly different color palette, if you could find one fitting!

OKAY, I didn't plan to watch SAW (2004) so soon again, but a rare opportunity appeared in form of the film being played on our local cable tv- just to inform you, Saw hasn't aired here for circa 12 years- together with the fact my GRANDMA decided she's going to watch it with me. She didn't know what it's about but was willing to give it a try - and to my surprise, she actually liked it!
Some details I caught:
- she liked Zepp the most, as she recognized his actor from the Lost series, whose character she really hate-loved. It was cool she remembers him, as it's been over a decade she seen that show the last time. Was really happy that he played a psycho.
- second is probably Adam, but mostly because she was impressed by Leigh - that he was both *writing* and *acting* in this, and that he pulled this all off at such young age! She kept saying stuff like "Agh, where did that boy get such crazy ideas..."
- she rooted for Sing and Tapp, kept repeatedly telling them to not go all alone to Jigsaw's lair, and Sing to not follow after John. "He's not dead, he's playing it!!! Stay there, you'l get hurt!!!" Was sad he got killed :(
- was super confused about Amanda's trap. How did she get out of the building, how did police find her, and why Jigsaw wasn't in the room with her (Billy probably made her think he was puppeteering him from behind).
- actually had a good time during the more "intense" scenes, even laughed sometimes. However, she couldn't look at Larry chopping his leg off, that was too much for her.
- even tho she got surprised by the twist, I think she's bit puzzled by why was John doing this, what he gets out of trapping people. To my big surprise tho, she quickly learned to understand traps and overall Jigsaw's gimmick, only didn't get the point of the pig mask.
- was not really amused when I told her there is 9 sequels to this.
Fingers crossed sequels are gonna air aswell 🤞

Disco Elysium, the mobile version, just released mere minutes ago, and it's currently available on Google Play *for free*.
...I've adressed the teaser some time ago theorizing how do they plan to monetize this, and my initial thought was that it's gonna be pay for the game once, or that it's gonna be sold in chapters - because, how else would you plan to monetize DE, without pissing people off? Pay for a dialogue option? Outfits? Health? Rn I'm kind of terrified what does it mean and how the game's gonna play.
I know everyone has been expecting a sh*tshow out of this right from the start, when it was advertised as "DE remade for modern audience", but I was actually kinda curious how it's gonna play out.

(Tiny vent)
Going through "liking SAW to discovering Nine Inch Nails" pipeline and, uh, feel quite silly at the moment. Never really got interested in any music band before, atleast not on the level where I'm interested in learning about its development and members through years, but I can't brush off the feeling of being someone who joined party pretty late.
-It's silly, I know. And probably normal feeling to experience when getting interested in, pretty much anything. But I have this weird feeling in my gut when browsing NIN spaces, how much I still don't know and how much I'm new to this. It's weird being this grown a*s woman and not knowing how to process this.
There's probably no way to "skip this", but, still, if someone more knowledgable would like to talk and share their knowledge with me... I'd be open to that :')

the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .
for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...
