The concepts of acesexuality and demisexuality have functioned as tools to erase feminist concerns about sexuality and relationships. Feminism began criticizing violent sex, hypersexulaty in our culture, the ideas that every woman should be available for sex whenever a man wants, and many other ideas like those. But now, women and girls who feel alienated by patriarchal culture don't have a support system based on a critical theory of our society... they have labels. Hypersexuality is not a cultural issue, it's a personal one, and if you don't like it it's your problem, and I hate how much of feminism we have lost thanks to identity politics.

i really cannot stand by any form of feminism that preaches that it’s ok for women to be hurt, i really dont care if they want it or not. wanting to be hurt is not healthy and the sheer quantity of women who celebrate violence against women and sexual exploitation but act like their doing it in a feminist way is absolutely sickening.

i think this needs to be said again
biological sex holds zero bearing on your personality. anyone who wants to claim otherwise is sexist.
you are not a man just because you have a "boyish" sense of humor, "boyish" interests, "boyish" hobbies, or a "boyish" sense of style. you are not a man just because you dont want people staring at your body.
wanting to be free from unfair expectations and limitations doesn't make you a man. it makes you a feminist.

this is a great little book and you should read it
the profession of medicine has always been sexist and classist and, in fact, it is precisely through sexism and classism that doctors have been elevated to their present day status

Women aren't taught to stand up for themselves. Stand up for yourselves! You know about it- you have lived it. Don't make any concessions for blokes like this. They don't give a fuck about you.

My dad flipped out once because my mom and I went to my aunt's house for lunch for MOTHER'S day. He said something about choosing them over our little family. It was with his own sister and mother.
women: any disagreement, any boundary
men: just say you want to call me slurs, like just say you want me to die 😔😒
