New headcanon

I’ve come up with a new Sherlock (BBC) headcanon and nobody can stop me!

So obviously in the world of BBC’s Sherlock, Arthur Conan Doyle was either not born or just never wrote Sherlock. Which means that the Sherlock books and all the other stories they inspired never existed. So what took their place?

Arsène Lupin.

So in Sherlock’s world detective fiction isn’t as popular as it is in our world and heist/robbery/con artist scheme movies have taken its place, leaving a world saturated with crime movies focusing on elaborate larger than world thieves and heists.

This is why the Sherlock world is filled with so many elaborate criminal schemes, they’re all inspired by the stories surrounding them.

Yep, I’m keeping this.
