Thank you! Yes I am from Germany. The main skyscraper is actually an ode to the one in my hown town and the rest is more inspiried by the New York scenery from Spiderverse. And yes, writing in German on Tumblr feels off haha :D Vielen Dank für das Kompliment!

City Lights :) Spent so much time on this one (180 process images, when my other illustrations have around 100). Really went out of my comfort zone and painted a cityscape. It was challenging but I'm really happy with the result! 🙂 Hope you like it too!

I ordered some foil prints of this painting and they look so great - will have them with me at gamescom later this month. :D

Old vs New - which do you prefer? :D (The old one is from 2019, the new one from 2024, I just never uploaded it until now!).

I recently watched the HTTYD remake, and wanted to post something dragons related for the occasion. I went through my old folders and found this repaint of Astrid, that I totally forgot to upload when I painted it! So I thought, when is a better time to post this than now? Hope you like it! :)

I started this back in April, when the cherry trees were blooming, and only finished it recently! That tree and all those flowers took quite a while to paint, it was definitley a challenge Hope you like!

Finally, I managed to take the time to edit this new timelapse! :D Here is a 4.5 hour excerpt of my Silent Princess painting, which took a total of around 30 hours to make! :O

So it was definitley one of my most time-consuming artworks to date, and I'm pretty happy with the result! Hope you like it :)

Which painting is your favourite? ^^ I decided to paint the same scene from 3 different angles; establishing, medium and close. Felt like painting my OCs again and I'm super happy with the results! :D I really love experimenting with these wide cinematic shots, especially since most of my other works are in a portrait format.

Which style is your favourite? :) I decided to study 3 animation styles and place them next to my own. I feel like my style is a culmination of all my interests, as it borrows and takes inspiration from the aesthetics I love.

This was loads of fun!! I particularly loved to mimic the painterly art style from Arcane ^o^

Quick lighting studies of both Forbidden Friendship scenes. What are your thoughts on the remake? :O I have mixed feelings about it, but I'm happy that it's awakening my hype for HTTYD again.

Spent so much time on this one and I'm pretty happy with the result! I actually scrapped the background half way through and decided to take a closer look at some references of Zaun. I'm glad I did that! :) Hope you like it!

Silver Armor <3 Spent so much time adding the little details, and I think it was all worth it! I haven't painted Astrid in super long time and I really enjoyed revisiting the music of the films while making this :)

Had so much fun making this quick study of Madame X by John Singer Sargen. I've honestly been a little art blocked lately. I'll be at Dokomi at the end of June and I don't think I've ever spent this much time not drawing for myself. Making this study and not worrying about the outcome was a joy! I hope you like it ^^
