In the first place, we should be moving away from #fossil fuel. In the second place, #pipeline spills and leaks occur hundreds of times each year. Further, those leaks have been hundreds of times worse than any spills shipping by #railroad. In the third place, #dapl #lies by saying their pipelines are safe when they had thousands of leaks with many of them massive. Proof if their #lie is the fact that instead of taking a route that would have allowed them to NEVER cross the #river, they are taking a route that goes back and forth across the #missouririver in places where they have to go under miles of water that supplies not only #nativeamericans but millions of other people. All that is because of an extremely #racist #governor and company that is willing to #trespass on #Indian land and put millions of people at risk just to keep #Bismarck's #water wells for nearly all white people from being contaminated from the leaks that ALWAYS occur. These #brave #nonviolent #heroes are #waterprotectors that are risking their lives for all of us! #waterislife

My semi-#vegan #breakfast! I added one egg to my stirred up #mushrooms, #spinach and #jalapeños from our neighbor's garden. The egg was from a happy #freerange hen, who was not looking to start a family. Her #egg would have gone to waste if I didn't eat it. I also had some of the last #tomatoes from the #garden. And just to make sure I had plenty of green #chlorophyll, I sprinkled some #MightyGreens over it. I usually mix Mighty Greens with water to make a juice like you are supposed to do, but sometimes I use it as a condiment!

My supper tonight. I eat #vegan most of the time, but sometimes my body craves meat protein. I love #sardines, especially the #sustainable wild caught ones from Wild Planet. Along with #Kimchi made from #kale, #avacado and fresh greens, I sprinkled a serving of #MightyGreens from Pines, the original #greensuperfood company that still packages appropriately and doesn't use those cheap plastic tubs of the copy-cat products. I've also used #PinesWheatGrass, the original product introduced more than 40 years ago. I took this picture of #peaches growing on one of our trees about a month ago. I intended to take another picture when they were ripe, but by the time I remembered I had already eaten them. They were delicious and so much juice I had to wash my face after I ate them!

I keep looking at the little #peaches on our trees and my mouth waters in anticipation for later in the summer when they will be juicy and ripe.
