So, this anon sent in two fc suggestions and I said sure. However, my co-admin said that she can't see those two fcs fitting in with our rp because they don't have that dark, supernatural vibe but I they fit and I don't want to go off at her or make her mad. Can you help me please??

well i think if you want to include those fcs, you should definitely tell your co admin that, explain why, ask her why she thinks they can't be included and just sort out some sort of a compromise. don't be afraid to tell her things since y'all opening a rp together after all and you will probably have a lot of decisions and arguments in the future. and if she's still completely against it and can't back it up with some arguments and is just weird about it, technically as a main admin and not a co admin you have more power of what goes in your roleplay.

Grammar plays a huge deal in rps, but I honestly don’t think people should change their minds about roleplaying with someone because of that. I know that I always make mistakes if I don’t reread what I’ve typed down and doing replies in a hurry has it’s own affection on it too, so don’t take it so personally, i mean thank god we're all human and anyone can make mistakes, right?           send me some rants!!!

I posted a long starter on my indie for someone who liked the starter call post and then they said they can't reply to the starter because they want to start over. I understand that, but I worked really hard on that starter and now it's all for nothing.

That’s basically the only reason i’m so intimidated by indie rpers. Everyone’s so picky and selective and knowing me as the emotional creature that i am, i would be pissed off as hell, and would probably end up scaring the other person away. I still think that the whole thing is sort of disrespectful since they didn’t even bother to message you or tell you about the details before you wrote the starter!!

When people send an anon/or a question to a roleplay saying something like 'oh but I wanted to play said character' who is obviously taken. What do they want the admins to do? Make the player of that character drop the character so they can have that character? I seriously don't get the point of a question like that.

God, being an admin for a rp for such a long time you see a lot of shit appearing in your inbox, but like seriously. Sometimes people don’t even think what they’re sending through and just want to hear something to make them feel better coming from admins!! Like maybe persuade them to apply for someone else or something similar, i’m sure no one’s actually trying to make admins feel helpless or annoyed though. Being an admin of a rp sometimes also includes a lot of self control by dealing with a lot of bullshit and keeping your chill and nice vibe at the same time.

I've been working on a roleplay since May of last year and just when I think I'm finished. I end up changing graphics because I know that they aren't good and that nobody will be interested because of the bad graphics. Ugh. I just wish that it wasn't so hard to please people and that people would rather look at the plot. Rather than the graphics. Why can't the rpc be like it once was?

I don’t know tbh. It pisses me off sometimes, but i guess it’s not such a big deal for me since i can actually make graphics. Though, it’s probably just because people try really hard to attract as many people as they can to their rps, and lbr people do pay more attention to rps that look serious and neat and the ones that just please their eyes in any way possible. I really do wish you luck with ur roleplay and try not to stress over it too much, okay? And don’t be afraid to ask some talk blogs for private opinions of your graphics when you decide that you’re close to opening.

I'd like to see an abusive relationship between characters, where a female is the abuser, instead of the male. Or even a lesbian couple who are in an abusive relationship. Seriously, there needs to be more of this around and lesbian couples in general. I honestly have only seen one lesbian couple throughout my roleplay experience on Tumblr and I've been here for almost three years.

everyone remember the whole 'let's bring 2k12 rps back!' and all that shit people wanted to change everything for the better in the 2k15? that was kinda funny, because i see nothing that has changed. people are still shitty to each other and gay couples are unrealistically rare. my guess is abusive relationships just aren't there because lbr everyone wants their character to be good. i don't think i've roleplayed with an actual bad character. a bad kind of character that isn't telling everyone they're careless and couldn't give a shit about anyone and sleeps around and ends up falling in love with one of those people. like a bad bad kind of character who just has no conscience or weakness, so i think that's why there are literally none abusive relationships. as for the lesbian couples, i mean. i don't think it's such a huge problem because i have seen them around, just not as much.
