Your name is ROSE LALONDE and despite having defeated SBURB as a Light player, you aren't feeling particularly LUCKY. As luck would have it, you and your friends have been SCATTERED and you have no idea what happened to them or whether they are alive at all.

She hugs him tightly, still stroking his hair and shushing him gently.
"It's okay John, don't talk about it until you're ready. But I will listen, I promise I will listen. Why don't you eat something and and I'll get you some water and once you've come back to yourself a little more, we can talk, okay?"
The smell of the soup wafted in front of his nostrils, and John idly took a whiff. A shudder jolted throughout his body, and he snapped awake. For the first time he was fully aware of his surroundings. The first thing he did was stand up and return the hugs that Rose gave him, as best he could given the fact that he was against her chest at the present moment.
"…Op—" he managed to say. He couldn’t say the full name. It hurt too much. “She betrayed me."

She frowned again and managed to lift John to a standing position, steering him to the sofa and setting him down. She sat next to him, hugging him tightly.
"I don't know what happened John, but I'm going to sit here with you until you come back to yourself, right after I get something from the kitchen, okay? I love you." she kisses his forehead.
In the kitchen, she poured the soup into two bowls, dropping a spoon into each one, and carried them into the living room, resting them on the coffee table. Hurrying back to the kitchen, she pulled out a roll of Ritz crackers, and then sat back down on the couch. She hoped the smell of the soup would help rouse him. She pulled his head to her chest, stroking his hair gently.
"I don't know what happened to you but I'm here now, and it's gonna be okay. I'm here and it's gonna be just fine, okay? I love you."
John’s eyelashes fluttered for a split second, and his eyes darted towards whoever was trying to jostle him and snap him out of his reverie. It was Rose. He could barely hear her talking, but he caught enough of what she said to respond with two nods, although he knew not what he nodded for. He then closed his eyes, a tear running down his face. The first sign of emotion since… well, since it happened.

She frowned deeply and debated what to do about how nonresponsive he was. She leaned over, kissing his forehead.
"I'll be right back, darling."
She bustled off to his kitchen, putting the soup to heat up on the stove and putting perishables away, tossing her bag on the sofa. She then returned to where he sat in the window and grasped him tight by the shoulders, shaking him slightly, before putting a hand on either side of his face.
"John. John darling, can you hear me? It's Rose John, I don't know what's wrong but I'm hear now, and I need you to acknowledge me so I know you're okay. If you can't talk that's fine, you could be in shock, just nod twice so I know you can hear me and you know who I am. I'm right here John, it's me Rose, you girlfriend, and I'm right here."
John made no attempt to respond. In fact, he did not even hear anyone waltzing into his home without permission. He thought perhaps he heard some buzzing noise, like a bug that happened to fly by his ear, but he paid it no mind. In fact, he felt about as small and insignificant as a little fly at this moment. All that time, gone in the blink of an eye. It was as if nothing had happened, but of course something had happened. John just didn’t want to think about it. He barely even noticed what was going on outside, much less the arm that was around him.

Rose hadn't heard from John in awhile and she was starting to get worried. She was feeling sort of infirm lately and had been sleeping a lot, so she knew she hadn't been the best girlfriend in the world. With all that in mind, she decided she should take something she'd been working on for him up to his house is Washington, along witha home cooked meal, and try and make amends.
She packed a bag with soem of her clothes, hoping he'd let her stay a few days, and a warm sky blue sweater with matching silly pompom hat with comical knitted eyebrows on it that she'd made him, for the cold Washington winter. She also filled a thermos with some chicken stew she'd made not too long ago, some cookies, and materials for sandwiches in case he didn't have any. He was a dude, after all.
Once she was packed, she keyed in the coordinates for the nearest transportalizer to his house, zapping in and walking the short distance to where he lived. She knocked on his door once, twice, three times, all to know answer. She frowned and tried the bell. Still nothing. Finally she tried the knob, and the door swung open easily.
"John? Darling are you in here?" she called, frowning. She wandered through the living room, where she finally spotted him staring out the window, seemingly catatonic.
"John?" she walked over to him quickly, wrapping him arm around him.

I have some very exciting news. I've gotten a call on an excerpt I sent to a publishing house, but said publishing house is in New York. So for the following week, I will be in New York, talking to agents and editors as such, and thus not a round much. I will try to check in when I can, and John, I will bring you a souvenir.
((Mun shit: I'm visiting my long distance boyfriend in Oregon for a week, I'll try to hope on once in awhile though! <3 you guys.))

Rose laughed and rolled her eyes, patting John's cheeks with her hands affectionately.
"You are such a dork."
"Of course. I will always come when you need me, John. That’s what friends, and girlfriends, are for." she runs a hand through his hair gently, rubbing his scalp slightly. She leaned her head on his shoulder, her face pressed into his neck. “I love you."

Of course.
Rose quickly pulled on a light sweater and slipped her flats on, striding over to the tranportalizer. She felt bad John felt everyone, including her, had left him. She simply thought when they arrived home from their long trip together he, like her, wanted some time to himself to think about everything they’d learned. Obviously she thought wrong, so she only hope she could make it up to him. She zapped into his house and walked to the living, her foot fall soft.
"Hi, John." she said quietly, sitting down on the couch, wrapping her arms about his waist.

Rose sat outside at the small coffee shop down the block, pen scratching slowly in a notebook, brainstorming ideas for the book she was writing. Or trying to write. She let out an exasperated sigh, putting her pen down and taking a sip of her espresso. Running a hand through her hair, she looked around for a waiter. She was almost out of coffee, but mostly, she was so wound up with writer's block she would have given anything for a distraction.
