I am going to be starting a D&D campaign for me and a group of friends, it's gonna be on a train that won't stop moving, and the whole campaign is gonna be trying to make it stop or get off. It's gonna be a sorta steampunk theme and inspired by The Bifrost Incident (The Mechanisms) And I'm wondering if anyone has ideas I should implement.

Here is another one I did a while ago. The Loneliest Eyes.

Though now I know you’re here I still feel that growing fate of loneliness.

Knowing you aren’t here to stay forever.

Knowing that I have everything with you.

But unable to keep hold. Being lost in the fog is an awful fate for one such as myself.

For all I do is know, and be here.

I can’t.

I can’t know what’s next or even who I am.

But for now... I know I’m with you.

I know I’ll be with you for a while.

But eventually, I will be lost to the fog again.

Alone.

Forever seeing everyone but never being seen themself.

To be stuck surrounded by people but not perceived.

To have the need to know.

But unable to dare grasp it.

Scared of what a person would think of them if they themselves were known.

Scared to be cast away into the shadows

The fog.

It’s cold there.

In the fog.

One doesn’t know where they are.

Can’t. Know anything really.

You start to forget yourself and others.

You’ll lose yourself.

But if you try to know there.

You will only know it wasn’t your fault.

You didn’t choose this fate… No one would.

As the Eye, you want to know.

To have that knowledge of people.

The knowledge of yourself.

But it hurts to know sometimes.

Sometimes not knowing…

Is okay.

Thought I would put some poetry here for you all. "A Corrupted Web"

Do you hear it? That buzzing.

That feeling of crawling skin, always moving from limb to limb.

The need and want to itch and burrow.

The feeling of being not your own.

One doesn’t like the buzzing nore the crawling.

Not being in control is an odd thing.

Those pretty patterns in a web are infatuating, aren’t they?

The way they form together is similar to the way a nest forms together.

The mazes of a Wasps nest.

So intricate and unique.

A spider is much more one of its own, completely in control.

But a hive, it’s controlled by one but has many.

A mass of Maggots is just its own, not controlled just. Compelled.

Compelled to burrow and sink into flesh.

That soft gooey flesh of any creature.

The control a spider has though, is much different.

It doesn’t want to burrow, no.

It wants to bite and watch as its venom takes control.

One may not even know they are being controlled.

Not knowing their body is not their own anymore.
