to everyone wanting to protest hoyo’s lack of melanin while still playing genshin, here’s a reminder:

do not pull for any natlan characters. None of them. Hoyoverse will actually take notice of their lack of revenue from these characters.

Even if they may seem tempting, still don’t do it. Hoyoverse really needs to understand that if they’re basing characters off of a real life nation, those characters need to be accurate to real life. (Seriously, how is kaeya still darker than all of them???)

if you really want to take this seriously, don’t pull for any sumeru that may go on rerun during the natlan patches. Those characters also should have darker skin tones, considering at least some of them come from the literal desert.
