Recreyo Discord Users Need To Touch Grass.

I barely joined that server maybe a year ago, and that whole place is well, pure chaos, and not in the fun lovable way that makes them "quirky" It's legitimately a mess in there.

For context, Recreyo is a group of friends who basically just do scenarios together, and they have a Discord server for it.

Joining it was maybe the worst mistake of my life.

I'm almost sure half of the active people there need to seek some professional help because what they type on there is legitimately insane.

Not to mention, the drama there is insane, and a bit worrying, frankly. None of the actives can ever let bye-gones be bye-gones, and they always have to attack and exclude everybody who hadn't been there since the very beginning of the server.

I would know, like I've said, that I joined the Recreyo discord server almost a year ago, yet I wouldn't dare touch the little main group they have.

Because of Recreyo ending soon, plenty of people who aren't as active on the server come by to say their goodbyes and join voice chats and such, which was why I was prompted myself to look into the server a bit. They seemed to be attacking this one user into leaving the server, which is dramatic of the actives, to say the least.

While I'm not currently involved in the drama (because of how active I am on there), I've heard of some drama between this group called the "Elitists" or something along those lines. It isn't my business, but the Elitists are basically the worst people to stumble across as a new person in a server like the Recreyo Discord (they're also the "actives" I mentioned earlier).

I won't rant any longer, considering that I'll likely be canceled as soon as I click "Post now", but just know, please never join that server, as long as it does stay up. This is a warning so you aren't potentially harassed nor had your mental health and sanity torn to smithereens.

I'm not the best at using Tumblr, I just hope that using this platform would be the best way of getting this information out.

I managed to convince a cousin of mine to watch Recreyo a while back but I completely forgot they're more insane about they're hype fixations then I am and now is combing through the lore and solving stuff (I already told them it was all solved, they just wanna do it themselves). Anyway went over to they're house and they had a whole ass clue board for all the lore. Didn't get to take a pic of it but it genuinely blew my mind away

Hello gang. In regards to this post, I have found an incredibly easy way to debunk it. And it took me less than an hour.

The art on the video is clearly not made by Ivan. The line weight is unintentionally inconsistent, the line-art is shaky— there’s just no confidence in the art at all in general… the ends of the line-art also too stubby, while Ivan uses a brush that adds some sharpness in some areas.

But the biggest giveaway is the weird shading on the hat, and how unsteady the coloring is on the armpit. And you can say “ohh, but it could be Den instead—“ 1st of all: Ivan was the primary illustrator for Recreyo, and 2nd of all: this is even further from Den’s style, and Den still doesn’t make the mistakes that this channel makes. And the line-art alone still shows that it’s traced from someone else, so this isn’t a guest artist.

And if you wanna make your own judgment about specific details, here’s more screenshots of the channel’s date of creation and it commenting on posts. And notice how I highlighted the incorrect grammar lol?? There’s also no banner?

i definitely sent a hate comment or two but none with death threats. looking back it might’ve been an overreaction since i was veeeery parasocial over recreyo and seeing the tag finally updated only for it to be SMUT was not the best.

I'm gonna come clean with ya'll,,,, I wrote the paper beats scissors fic. I just, I remembered today like 'oh right I wrote that' and decided to post this because I feel like my lifespan was shortened by 10 years until now, anyways yeah qna on the fic I guess?? I wrote it as a joke since I was basically half a year fresh out the psychward and bored during summer school phys ed, and my dumbass was like 'yeah people did this in every other fandom I was in (i think danplan was the only other one I was in), this must be the thing to do' and then I got death threats and orphaned the fic since it hurt to hear but looking back 15 y/o me was funny as hell for making that lmfao please don't kill me

i know im late to this discussion but i think it’s crazy when recreyo fans try to make conspiracy theories about these Real People and their Real Relationships, like when someone said that “Chilly left because she was bullied” - which is insane to say because that discredits how she has her own thing going on, and just wanted to focus on that lol

being parasocial comes with being a recreyo fan, but it’s still wild. especially using the term “abuse,” since… that’s an actual serious thing. i know people have crazy attachment to ivan, but that is a grown man with a WIFE 😭 infantilizing real people is weird as hell

also even if it was just about lore and their characters…. it’d still be wrong and ooc, because Ivan literally IS the first villain of Recreyo. like if anyone was gonna get bullied, it would be him. but that’s a less serious gripe i have, i just personally find it annoying as an ex-Christian stan since Ivan is indirectly responsible for Barney’s death ☠️

tldr; be normal about these real people that are definitely more than twice your age

saw a lot of yt comments abt how Ivan’s always being “abused” and people talking about how they feel bad for him (in older videos?). I don’t know how I feel about that.

fun stuff in this (?): i got the idea for changing the color of chrisitan’s flames midway, and I got too lazy to draw in the actual chemicals needed so now it’s just a magic potion. curt’s design now includes a earring with the same design as “RC”’s hairclip, and ivan has an earring of and “H” which stands for HR. kristine’s, um, beads defy some laws of physics… don’t worry about it. there was an alternative to christians hair color and I no joke sat for 3 minutes trying to decide what hair color to give him. dens socks are those little cat socks, it just doesn’t show the front
