Cecilia gasped excitedly, clapping her hands together to see her new friend in the red dress. “You look lovely! It’s like you’re a queen from a story book…Oh i wish i knew other lovely stories about women in red!” 

The grin remained on her face, and she did a little spin in the dress, excited by how it looked on her.  And it was so nice to be praised for how she looked in it by Cecelia too.  “I’m certainly going to buy this one.  It’s perfect."

She didn’t close the door to the changing room yet, not quite ready to change back out of the dress.  “Have you found anything yet?”

“Oh dear, do you need help?”

“No do not worry I’m fine.” She reassured, managing to get up. “These heels are…a bit taller than what i am used to wearing so it’s quite hard to adjust to them.”

“I’m glad you were as prepared as you are,” Grell said as she eagerly caught the hairbrush and began brushing through her long red hair.  “I just don’t know what I would have done if I couldn’t brush my hair before we continue on.”

Kagome laughed and tossed her brush over. “Here, I guess even reapers get nervous when seeing their crush.” She remembered worrying about how she looked for Inuyasha and him not caring at all. Rolling her eyes she served breakfast which was just a couple of protein bars.

Grell opened her eyes and looked sleepily up at her before remembering her excitement about finding Sesshomaru and quickly scrambling to her feet.  She folded up the blanket she’d been sleeping on and then began running her hands through the tangles in her hair.  “I must look a mess,” she said as she worked on that, “I can’t let Sesshamaru see me looking like this.  You don’t have a hair brush do you?”

Kagome woke early and started to make breakfast and pack up their things. Gently she nudged Grell, “Time to get up.”

Grell grinned as she put on the dress in the changing room, and then looked at herself in the provided mirror.  The dress was absolutely perfect.  She loved it.  Opening the door to the changing room she stuck her head out to see Cecelia.  “Come over here, Cecelia,” she said, already posing a little, “Don’t I look lovely in this dress?”

“Oh dear, do you need help?”

“No do not worry I’m fine.” She reassured, managing to get up. “These heels are…a bit taller than what i am used to wearing so it’s quite hard to adjust to them.”

When Kagome fell asleep, Grell shifted in the blanket a few times to get more comfortable and then closed her eyes, also falling asleep.

“To each their own.” Kagome yawned and soon fell asleep, unaware that the wind was already carrying their scent to Sesshomaru.

“You’re being no fun today,” Grell complained, “Just because I’m a little sick doesn’t mean we can’t do anything.  I’m feeling well enough.”

You need to rest

“Why would I need to rest?”  Grell said, even though she knew the answer perfectly well.  “We should take advantage of this time we have together, Sebby.”

“Why yes I am.  It will certainly be worth it if he’s anywhere near as good looking as your Inuyasha is,” Grell said.  “And as I said earlier, being cold and him trying to kill me will probably just make me want him more.”

“Wow you are determined just to meet him, I hope it is worth it. Like I said he is rather cold and might try to kill you.” She hoped he was just his normal cold self though. Kagome yawned again laying down.

That thought made Grell grin.  She just had to wear it for Sebastian than.  Maybe one of these days he’d decide he appreciated her, even if he was showing no signs of wanting anything to do with her now.  “I’m going to try it right now,” she said, already heading towards the changing rooms.

“We should see it then,” Grell said, grinning.  “I still want to see some Shakespeare together too, of course.  But we could go see more than one play together.  We can make our double dates a regular occurrence and go and see a lot of different plays together.  Wouldn’t that be fun?”

Double Date

For a moment when Sebastian laid her down, Grell had been tempted to not let go of him.  Despite the pain in her side, she had felt safe in his arms, had taken some comfort from him carrying her.  She knew that she needed to get treated though, that would hopefully make the pain more bearable, and so she did let go without much of a hesitation.

She closed her eyes as they rolled her away, and took her away to be treated.

“Isn’t this dress lovely?”  Grell said after a few minutes of searching.  She pulled a red dress from the rack and held it up so that Cecilia could see it from where she was looking.  “I’ve just got to try this one on.”

“Oh dear, do you need help?”

“No do not worry I’m fine.” She reassured, managing to get up. “These heels are…a bit taller than what i am used to wearing so it’s quite hard to adjust to them.”
