My next project after "When It's Dark". Based on the true story up until the single father subplot Who Put Bella in the Wych Elm On a typical dark and cloudy day in 1943 Hagley, England, poachers discover a human skeleton crammed in the trunk of a tree. Being the time of WWII, there is no time for investigation. Meanwhile, a single father who's daughter went missing precisely 18 months earlier decides to investigate the crime, believing it is his daughter. As he gets closer to discovering the truth, be begins to unravel a sinister plot by some of the local townspeople who might be High Priests of a satanic cult and his daughter's death may not be the only ritualistic murder in the small town.
