The Jupiter Mining Corporation Red Dwarf is a giant, six mile long mining craft. The front Ramscoop collects trace amounts of hydrogen in space, using it to power the engine core, meaning the ship could, theoretically, run forever. Or, for at least the 3 million years Dave Lister, the sole survivor of a radiation leak, was left in stasis.
