What does “gas” mean in crypto?

“Gas” is important in the world of crypto. Simply put, gas is the payment needed when making a transaction or interacting with a smart contract on a blockchain — i.e., the network fee you pay.

Gas is usually paid in the given blockchain’s native cryptocurrency — e.g., ETH is used for transactions on Ethereum, and BNB is used for the same on BNB Smart Chain). These fees go to miners or validators responsible for keeping networks secure and confirming transactions. Gas fees also prevent spam on the network, keeping the blockchain running smoothly.

“Listing” (in both the cryptocurrency and securities worlds) is the process of an asset (such as a coin or stock) “appearing” on an exchange.

If you read the phrase “Binance has listed the DOGE cryptocurrency,” it means that you can now buy and sell DOGE on Binance, whereas before the listing, you couldn’t trade the coin on that exchange simply because Binance didnt support it.

How to enter non-standard characters in Windows?

There are much more letters and symbols in Windows than are available on the keyboard, for example, we often need degree, euro, and fraction signs. To quickly enter a character that is not available on the keyboard, use the built-in Character Map utility.

1. Press “Win+R”, in the “Run” window that appears, enter the command “charmap”. 2. In the symbol table window, left-click on the special symbol that you want to insert into the document and click “Select”. 3. The special character will be copied into the copy field. Click "Copy" to add the symbol to your clipboard. 4. Using the “Ctrl+V” keys, paste the symbol into the desired place in the document.

To copy multiple special characters at once, left-click on the first character you want to use. Click the Select button.
