OH MY GOD YOUR ART IS JUST STUNNING, I WAS WONDERING- how do you do detailing and texturing? I know that art processes can be really hard to explain so don't feel pressured to! Just wanted to say I am IN LOVE with your artwork

Thank you so much, I really appreciate the compliment, and I'm sorry for the delay on this ask!! I had to wait till I could make another painting to capture the process in the images below:

Detailing and texturing is all about just giving the impression of something for me (for smaller details especially like distant grass)! I find playing with the borders between light and shaded areas work wonders to imply dimension or texture.

Adding speckles and directional lines can also help you imply detail and texture! Lighter colored speckles/lines can imply places where light has struck bumps or strands on an object, while darker colors can imply holes or places where a strand has blocked the light from reaching

A good thing to keep in mind that I've learned is that a slow transition from light to dark implies smoothness while a harsh transition in light and dark implies a change in direction (think: light on a sphere vs light on a cube). That can help when trying to make the impression of detail/texture
