Konrad Curze Night Lords omnibus notes

Once again, written on phone. Unusually, I was reading a paperback copy. This means I might’ve missed some because I didn’t have the search or bookmark functions I usually have. Sorry if I missed anything, just let me know what section of the book it’s in and I’ll go back and add it.

-Konrad’s artifacts included a simple crown circlet, a silver blade he work on his back, and the iconic black feather cloak

-Konrad willingly let M’Shen kill him

-thought his life meant nothing, unless he died in the very specific way he did, because otherwise Big E wouldn’t learn anything-it’s about dying for his beliefs

-black eyed, slender

-sent his sons against the imperium to kill and whatnot to get revenge against the Imperium

-thought Nostramo’s destruction necessary because they were evil. Thought his own killing was necessary for the same reason, to prove that the brutal punishment is necessary

-by the end was in pretty rough shape, drooling involuntarily

-named Talos Soul Hunter because he was the one who broke with orders to not hunt down the assassin. Also, his last wishe was that no one hunt down M’Shen for killing him.

-absolutely hated his sons and did not care what happened to them after he kicked the bucket

-personal theory: maybe part of the need to prove the point to dad was influenced by him being so confused as to who was alive and who was dead he didn’t realize his dad wasn’t there to learn it anymore
