Well... what happened was that I made the cake when we first got to Turkey. Then I didn't see you, then forgot about it, and now it's old. I worked really hard on it, and it came out really nice, which is why I wanted to show you, but we can make another cake together, sometime. What do you say?
text: That sounds like an old cake! Making a new one would definitely be better. 😂

a small chuckle escapes from his own brims, hearing reid’s words, followed by a shake of his head. ❝ oh no, I don’t do parties like that, at least not any more . ❞ a younger di’angelo would have jumped at the fact that there was an actual party but that wasn’t what he did anymore. at times he felt as if he had aged a hundred years &. what people were doing at his age, he wanted none of that. ❝ so, any tips about the other students, anyone I need to watch out for ? ❞
“not anymore?” he can’t help but laugh again, a shake of his head as he thumbed his bottom lip, gold rings adorning his fingers, “don’t make me feel ancient. i can still go to a party every once in a while, can’t i?” he asks as if wanting a real answer but reid was easy, he would go with the flow until the flow wouldn’t go, watch all the chaos and be there to pick up the pieces. he knew his own limitations unlike some. “tips? expect the unexpected. you never know who’s going to walk through the doors and be careful who you jog with, they might turn out to be mentally unstable,” all wise words.

a roll of chocolate hues as she looked at the homme, who had now decided to sit near by. ❝ I wish I did . ❞ she says with a small smile playing on crimson petals. ❝ I saw di’angelo today , haven’t you guys met up ? ❞ it seemed that whenever she saw di’angelo , reid was right there as well &. to say the least ——- both boys were certainly easy on the eyes. ❝ were you looking for someone or you just couldn’t help yourself to come &. see me ? ❞ she makes a momentary pause, but continues ❝ for the safe of my ego, I think there is only one right answer . ❞
he hadn’t initially realised who rosalie was talking about or that it had something to do with another person but with this new information, “ah, right,” he nods, “i don’t know, perhaps he got a better off,” reid joked. he seemed to spend the majority of his time with tyler, silas or di’angelo these days, reid was safely outside of any drama or mayhem that was going on ever since cherish had taken her leave from the programme. that had been the dark era. “then i suppose i must say that i came here just to see your delightful face, rosalie,” he plays into it easily without skipping a beat as he drums his fingertips against his notebook. “a breath of fresh air in exam season,” although he could be charming, he was never deceitful or out for any particular gain. with reid, things were exactly as they seemed.

“a safe bet would be the post office,” he teased harmlessly, dark gaze trailing down to the envelope as a grin swiped easily across his lips. “if you mean the location of said post office then i might be less helpful but we could try and find it together.”
open starter @interchangestarts (0/5)
zeki folded the envelope shut, full of developed pictures he’d taken in turkey. he was excited for his dad to receive them. “do you know where we can send letters and whatnot out from?” he inquired, tucking the envelope under his arm.

“yessss!” reid cheered. it was adequately strange to hear him shouting in such high spirits, his ipad open and streaming a game of football that was taking place over in england. looking around, he gestured towards tommy, “mate, you have to see this. i trained this boy, look at him killing it out there,” he gestured wildly at the seven year old on the screen who’d just scored a goal as if it were a premier league match.

reid came from old money, a family that was etched in success in headlines. unquestionably and unpardonably he had always been fashioned to be somebody of important even if repentantly he had wished not to be. his experience equipped him with expertise in dealing with those from the upper class. “two of me? do you have a concussion?” the laugh that leaves his lips is breezy and fast as he takes a seat with his leather bound notebook in hand, elbow resting against the edge of the plush seat that was an earmark of luxury he hadn’t seen in some time on their travels.
dressed in head to toe in givenchy, reading glasses at the bridge of her nose as she’s scanning through the passage at hand. her mother with another successful fashion show, the name SALVATORE being brought bigger &. bigger into the limelight. as if she needed more of that &. per usual no bad words to say about her but that she was the perfect daughter, taking after her father’s career. a sigh escapes her brims as she closed the laptop, head resting on the head rest of the couch. chocolate hues rest on the figure coming in, crimson petals etch into a small smile ( the most that she can give him at the moment ) as she turns her body slightly to the homme before her. ❝ seeing two of you in one day ———— must be my lucky day . ❞

he had been caught but if there was one person that it was not all bad to be spied on by then it was most certainly reid. there was not a bad bone in his body even if there were many overly passive ones, “i was just taking inventory of the new arrivals,” he joked, “apologies if i’m disappointing but it’s definitely not me who does welcome parties... there are some around here that love making that their special honour,” although he fears to go too far into the cavalry of greetings one seems to find when they sign up here.
he had been saying that he would join the interchange program. from where he was he could operate whatever business he needed to take care of, might even be able to close off some deals he had been working on. he places his bags on the corner of the room, watching the homme peak his head through his door. ❝ do , I get a welcome party or are you just going to stand there like a damn statue ? ❞

at this point he took most things in his stride, nothing about his features suggesting even a touch of surprise. “oh, are you a crafty man?” he asks, a hint of humour on his lips more so than in the words. “i don’t know if i have as many secrets as you.”
“ i’ve always wanted to have a real deal sleepover we can make each other friendship bracelets and tell secrets. ” @reidbennet

lovcmalik:
though never fake, malik often resembled water, fitting into whatever space was available, regardless of the group. the extrovert, however, still desired moments of strict observation, gathering what he could in hopes of eventually spilling it onto paper — something he hasn’t done very well since losing his dad despite writing daily. now using food as an excuse, he’s weaving stories of those he spots within the crowd when he hears the question. ❝ hm? ❞ onyx hues tug from the group currently holding his focus and it takes a moment for his brain to catch up. ❝ ah, fun. wait, no, a good time.. ❞ those were the words, ❝ i am, actually. did you see the special guests or whatever? i thought my eyes were playin’ tricks on me for a hot sec. ❞
reid knew how lucky he had been throughout his life, his experienced coloured bright and bold by meeting important people and going to important place. it just so happened that what he found to be important might not have been quite the same as his parents and although he had never disappointed them as a child or young man, he had different values in adulthood. “i saw them. i do have to say, if you promise not to tell anyone, i’m really not a fan of the notebook,” he furrowed his brows, always something softer about his disposition, “if you ask me, they shouldn’t have ended up together.” as a fence-sitter in life in most aspects, clearly this was a powerful moral stance.
