"Mental damage at birth i guess"
That's ableist. I bet you call people retards too
Of course not, it would be an insult to a certain kind of people to compare them to you. In fact, it’s even an insult to cishet guys to compare them to you. Even the dumbest person in the world would find it insulting to be compared to you.

Really Snivellus! You should be thanking us. Rats are dirty and need to be washed. Ha ha ha!

update: got a new iPad and new Apple Pencil. This new pencil doesnt have pressure recognition )?) in it so I won’t be able to continue my usual style with those easily flowing lines :’) So take this piece as an experiment for ‘how to rework my drawing style without using my usual brushes ‘

Snape may be autistic, yes, but I feel like NPD suits him more— (using a tone that one would use on a dog) HEY, NO! PUT IT DOWN, DROP IT! DROP THAT ABLEISM! DOWN! Good boy, now, go check out the symptoms and tell me that's not him.
He loves his achievements and takes great pride in it, but he also absolutely hates himself. He holds himself and others to high standards. He socially isolates and prefers to be around 'high class' or 'intelligent' or 'important' people. He can handle criticism, but he evidently doesn't like it. He's dramatic and tends to make things centered on himself. Just look at him and his character and it makes so much sense.
If everyone could just look past their terrible, bigoted ableism for like two seconds to agree with me please, that'd be great.

people who say that movie Snape was a morally better, kinder person and a better teacher then book Snape are so shallow to me.
like I have nothing against people liking movie Snape ofc, or even liking only movie Snape – tho this is a different character, and I don't believe those people share a fandom with me then, but personal preferences are all valid. if someone vibes with movie Snape and not with canon Snape – can't relate, but sure, hope yall have fun. but he isn't... a better person? he literally hits his students because they annoy him? he lashed out at Harry and finished Occlumency lessons with him because Harry fought back like he was supposed to try doing? and book Snape does none of that. he has incredibly kind and brave moments that didn't make it to the movies, and the trauma that influences his behaviour and decisions is actually shown.
movie Snape is more traditionally masculine, behaves more upper-class (wouldn't have spat on the ground in anger or sworn for sure lol), shows less emotions and trauma responces, is more authoritative and mature, and isn't as much humiliated by other characters and the narrative as book Snape. but it doesn't make one a morally better person. like what the hell are we talking about here.

Dead-eyed in class.
School sucks even when there is magic, even when it is your favorite subject… or maybe that is depression.

Controversial opinion, but I think it's crazy how many people only focus on Lily's hurt feelings during SWM and completely ignore the fact that Severus was being hung in the air, with invisible ropes restraining him, soap in his mouth choking him, all while being forcibly stripped naked and a bunch of people laughing while he was being SA...
i know a lot of things are happening in that same scene, but are you really going to focus ONLY on Lily's feelings? Like, i get that SWM is Sev's worst memory because he loses Lily's friendship, but we aren't obligated to see it like that too
I admit it, I just find it ridiculous (and annoying) that people want to make Lily out to be the victim when Severus was literally being abused at that very moment. But somehow he's the one being demanded maturity and a proper attitude while being SA? Lily gets a pass for laughing at him, calling him Snivellus, and mocking the state of his underwear (and just leaving him like that, when she has the authority to stop what's happening as a prefect) and no one says anything? She's the one who deserves to be begged and pleaded for forgiveness...
Just thinking about it makes me nauseous...
Imagine telling someone (your supposed best friend) that your hurt feelings are more important than the fact that their bodily autonomy has been violated
she being hurt bc of the word mudblood is valid, She deciding to end the friendship is valid too. But for her to abandon him in that situation without stopping what was happening? That's not right, and I'm sick of the fandom wanting to pretend it is

Severus and Harry get blinded by their personal biases and hate enough that they don't notice how similar they are to each other lol

When asked to respond objectively I say I find him interesting.
In reality he's my favourite; I love to draw him and write about him and talk about him.
He's just too hated by the fandom for me not to study his character like I study for debate team.
