Should I be insecure abt my oc verse if there’s no fantasy/scifi/supernatural elements? I’ve always been into writing drama/slice of life stories with characters that are real and have depth, and are those kind of series that stick with you for a while (my biggest inspirations are like nana, bojack horseman, etc…) but like I realize a lot of times people won’t even give me the time of day to talk about it bc they are more realistic 😭 I’ve literally left an oc group because my friends were just openly shitting on SOL/Drama and when I was like “now I kind of feel like my verse is shit..” i was hit with the “make it fantasy” and also “you’ll find someone out there who might like it….someday!” And I’ve been mad scared to share my art and stories since then— I’ve been trying to post everywhere because I wanna get over that fear but I’m TWEAKINGGG
