Is a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived in South America during the Late Cretaceous period, probably sometime between 72 and 69 million years ago. The only species is Carnotaurus sastrei. Known from a single well-preserved skeleton, it is one of the best-understood theropods from the Southern Hemisphere. The skeleton, found in 1984, was uncovered in the Chubut Province of Argentina from rocks of the La Colonia Formation. Carnotaurus is a derived member of the Abelisauridae, a group of large theropods that occupied the large predatorial niche in the southern landmasses of Gondwana during the late Cretaceous. Within the Abelisauridae, the genus is often considered a member of the Brachyrostra, a clade of short-snouted forms restricted to South America. Carnotaurus was a lightly built, bipedal predator, measuring 7.5 to 8 m (24.6 to 26.2 ft) in length and weighing 1.3–2.1 metric tons (1.4–2.3 short tons; 1.3–2.1 long tons). As a theropod, Carnotaurus was highly specialized and distinctive. It had two thick horns above the eyes, a unique feature unseen in all other carnivorous dinosaurs, and a very deep skull sitting on a muscular neck. Carnotaurus was further characterized by small, vestigial forelimbs and long, slender hind limbs. The skeleton is preserved with extensive skin impressions, showing a mosaic of small, non-overlapping scales approximately 5 mm in diameter. The mosaic was interrupted by large bumps that lined the sides of the animal, and there are no hints of feathers. The distinctive horns and the muscular neck may have been used in fighting others of its species. According to separate studies, rivaling individuals may have combated each other with quick head blows, by slow pushes with the upper sides of their skulls, or by ramming each other head-on, using their horns as shock absorbers. The feeding habits of Carnotaurus remain unclear: some studies suggested the animal was able to hunt down very large prey such as sauropods, while other studies found it preyed mainly on relatively small animals. Its brain cavity suggests an acute sense of smell, while hearing and sight were less well developed. Carnotaurus was probably well adapted for running and was possibly one of the fastest large theropods.

Is there a name more synonymous with sports-entertainment than Hulk Hogan? The key figure in WWE’s rise from regional attraction to worldwide entertainment leader in the 1980s, The Hulkster’s superhuman size and undeniable charisma set the standard for what a Superstar should be. A larger-than-life icon, he packed 93,173 WWE fans into the Pontiac Silverdome, won six WWE Championships, starred in movies, television shows and his own animated series and became an idol to a vast legion of fans he dubbed his Hulkamaniacs. Clad from head to toe in his trademark yellow and red, “The Real American” first established his unbridled patriotism when he legdropped his way through The Iron Sheik to win the WWE Championship in 1984. He became a household name from there, headlining the inaugural WrestleMania while brushing his 24-inch pythons against celebrities like Cyndi Lauper and Billy Crystal on MTV and “Saturday Night Live.” The Hulkster’s fanbase knew no bounds as Andy Warhol showed up at his matches and millions of children listened intently as their hero urged them to “say their prayers and eat their vitamins.” Hogan’s massive presence had a way of making things feel significant. His greatest rivals — “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, King Kong Bundy, Ultimate Warrior — became more noteworthy parts of WWE history when they stepped through the ropes to face The Immortal One. His best matches read like a shortlist of WWE’s defining moments. Who could forget Hulk’s showdown with Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III, his collision with Randy Savage at WrestleMania V, his iconic encounter with The Rock at WrestleMania X8? And The Hulkster was nothing if not smart. Leaving WWE for WCW in the mid-90s, he turned villain when he sensed audiences growing tired of his heroism. As the ringleader of the New World Order, he redefined himself as a cowardly bad guy and took WCW to the top of the sports-entertainment heap. The nWo experiment may have sold some T-shirts, but fans eventually grew nostalgic for the Hulk Hogan they grew up with. That Superstar returned to WWE in 2002 in all of his red and yellow glory to ask a new generation of opponents that eternal question: “Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?” This thrilling rumble down memory lane brought Hogan his final WWE Title, entry into the WWE Hall of Fame and proof that there wouldn’t be WWE without Hulk Hogan. To much fanfare, The Hulkster returned to WWE in 2014, hosting WrestleMania 30 and celebrating his 61st birthday live on Raw. Now that he's back home, what else will Hulkamania have in store for the WWE Universe?

Is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She was a young human, the granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik and the cousin of Dr. Eggman. Born on Earth, Maria suffered from a terminal illness with no known cure. To save Maria, Gerald brought her aboard the Space Colony ARK to keep her condition in remission, while he worked on Project Shadow in hopes of developing a cure. Gerald's research produced Shadow the Hedgehog, with whom Maria became close friends. When G.U.N. later shut down the ARK, Maria was killed by a G.U.N. Soldier while trying to assist Shadow in his escape from the colony. Her passing had a major impact on Shadow's psyche, and proved to be an event that would strongly influence the fate of the world in the decades that followed. While frail in appearance, Maria was strong in spirit. Eternally cheerful, optimistic and positive despite her condition, Maria could see the good in almost anyone or anything. She was likewise a very kind, loving and generous soul who always put others before herself, supported her friends, and held an unconditional love for the people of the world, even showing compassion towards her enemies when they were distressed. Because she never got to visit Earth after she was moved to the Space Colony ARK, Maria was very interested in the planet and wished to see it. She was as well very encouraging as she could make others accept themselves and calm others down when in stressful situations, including Shadow. She had unwavering faith in the people she trusted, as she strongly believed that Shadow and her grandfather would cure her illness. Always gentle and thinking about others before herself, Maria was one who found it easier than most to forgive and forget, not to mention trust. Even after G.U.N. violently raided the ARK and shot her down, Maria did not hold any ill will against the people on earth and only wished for them to live happy lives. She was also utterly selfless as she sacrificed her life for Shadow's sake, having faith he would carry on her dreams for her. Despite her youth and frailness, Maria was brave, determined, and had a strong sense of righteousness. When the Artificial Chaos were on a rampage, Maria wanted to stop them to save the innocent, and during the G.U.N.'s raid on the ARK she refused to leave the injured researchers behind. Even on her deathbed, Maria remained undeterred and only wished for Shadow to fulfill his purpose. Maria may have a taste for the macabre or unconventionally cute, as shown by her enthusiasm and care for Shadow, despite his intimidating appearance and knowledge of his alien origins, as well as her comments on finding the Artificial Chaos "kind of cute" when they split apart.

Fallon Henley may be a small-town country girl, but she has a bad attitude and an even bigger presence inside the squared circle. Whether she’s with her horse, Luna, or bartending at her parent’s bar, Henley carries with her a strong work ethic and a mean right hand. Alongside her friends Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, Henley has gone toe-to-toe with some of NXT’s finest, making a name for herself in the Women’s Breakout Tournament. Henley won tag gold with Kiana James, but her time with Briggs and Jensen came to an end when she decided she needed a change. Sick of being passed over by Superstars she saw as less than, Henley joined Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx to form Fatal Influence, a partnership that provided her with a Women's North American Title victory at Halloween Havoc 2024.

An extinct carnivorous marsupial that was native to the Australian mainland and the islands of Tasmania and New Guinea. The thylacine died out in New Guinea and mainland Australia around 3,600–3,200 years ago, prior to the arrival of Europeans, possibly because of the introduction of the dingo, whose earliest record dates to around the same time, but which never reached Tasmania. Prior to European settlement, around 5,000 remained in the wild on the island of Tasmania. Beginning in the nineteenth century, they were perceived as a threat to the livestock of farmers and bounty hunting was introduced. The last known of its species died in 1936 at Hobart Zoo in Tasmania. The thylacine is widespread in popular culture and is a cultural icon in Australia. The thylacine was known as the Tasmanian tiger because of the dark transverse stripes that radiated from the top of its back, and it was called the Tasmanian wolf because it resembled a medium- to large-sized canid. The name thylacine is derived from thýlakos meaning "pouch" and ine meaning "pertaining to", and refers to the marsupial pouch. Both sexes had a pouch. The females used theirs for rearing young, and the males used theirs as a protective sheath, covering the external reproductive organs. The animal had a stiff tail and could open its jaws to an unusual extent. Recent studies and anecdotal evidence on its predatory behaviour suggest that the thylacine was a solitary ambush predator specialised in hunting small- to medium-sized prey. Accounts suggest that, in the wild, it fed on small birds and mammals. It was the only member of the genus Thylacinus and family Thylacinidae to have survived until modern times. Its closest living relatives are the other members of Dasyuromorphia, including the Tasmanian devil, from which it is estimated to have split 42–36 million years ago. Intensive hunting on Tasmania is generally blamed for its extinction, but other contributing factors were disease, the introduction of and competition with dingoes, human encroachment into its habitat and climate change. The remains of the last known thylacine were discovered at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery in 2022. Since extinction there have been numerous searches and reported sightings of live animals, none of which have been confirmed. The thylacine has been used extensively as a symbol of Tasmania. The animal is featured on the official coat of arms of Tasmania. Since 1996, National Threatened Species Day has been commemorated in Australia on 7 September, the date on which the last known thylacine died in 1936. Universities, museums and other institutions across the world research the animal. Its whole genome sequence has been mapped, and there are efforts to clone and bring it back to life.

Is a possible chimaeric genus of maniraptoriform theropod dinosaur that lived in western North America during the Late Cretaceous period. The remains have been found in the Maastrichtian-aged Hell Creek Formation, dated to the very end of the Mesozoic era, making Dakotaraptor potentially one of the last surviving dromaeosaurids, though other researchers have disputed its classification. The remains of D. steini were discovered in a multi-species bonebed. Elements of the holotype and referred specimens were later found to belong to trionychid turtles, and it is unclear whether further analysis of potential non-dromaeosaurid affinities of the holotype and referred material can be properly conducted, because currently the type specimen is housed in a private collection. Phylogenetic analyses of D. steini place it in a variety of positions within Dromaeosauridae.

Raquel Gonzalez has the size and strength to push any Superstar past her breaking point. Standing 6-feet tall with back muscles so wide you could screen a movie on them, the towering Texan does what she wants, when she wants, and there’s little anyone can do to stop her. As the daughter of longtime wrestler Ricky “Desperado” Gonzalez, Gonzalez was all but certain to be a future Superstar. That moment finally arrived in 2017, when she appeared on the WWE Universe’s radar for the first time as a competitor in the inaugural Mae Young Classic Tournament. That Gonzalez — a demure youngster, still a newcomer to the WWE Performance Center — bears little resemblance to the confident powerhouse the WWE Universe knows her as today. And on the April 8, 2022 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, the powerful Gonzalez emerged on the blue brand for the first time. With Gonzalez always eager to impose her will, expect a mess of competition to be left in this fast-rising Superstar’s rearview. Fast forward to the final Raw before WWE Clash at the Castle, where Aliyah teamed with Raquel Gonzalez and overcame the treacherous Dakota Kai and IYO SKY in the tournament finals to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions! Gonzalez would earn another Women's Tag Team Title reign, this time with Liv Morgan. During the 2023 WWE Draft, both were drafted to Raw. After some time away, Gonzalez made a dominant return, helping Women's World Champion Liv Morgan retain her title at WWE Bad Blood against Rhea Ripley. Since then, Gonzalez has been a one-woman wrecking crew, joining The Judgment Day.

In her own words, La Primera means champion. Stephanie Vaquer's arrival in WWE was met with global headlines, as she has earned a reputation as a dominant, hard-hitting champion in Japan and North and South America. Vaquer immediately captured the attention of the locker room and the top champions, especially when she captured the NXT Women's North American Championship at Vengeance Day 2025 which also made her the first-ever female South American champion in WWE history. More history came for Vaquer when she dethroned Giulia at Roadblock 2025, becoming the first woman in history to become a double champion with two NXT Titles. Also known as The Dark Angel, the Chilean Superstar proves that she is one of the best Superstars every time she steps between the ropes with her brutal striking and daredevil attitude.

Meaning "spiked lizard" from the Ancient Greek styrax/στύραξ "spike at the butt-end of a spear-shaft" and sauros/σαῦρος "lizard") is an extinct genus of herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous (Campanian stage) of North America. It had four to six long parietal spikes extending from its neck frill, a smaller jugal horn on each of its cheeks, and a single horn protruding from its nose, which may have been up to 60 centimeters (2 feet) long and 15 centimeters (6 inches) wide. The function or functions of the horns and frills have been debated for many years. Styracosaurus was a relatively large dinosaur, reaching lengths of 5–5.5 metres (16–18 ft) and weighing about 1.8–2.7 metric tons (2.0–3.0 short tons). It stood about 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) tall. Styracosaurus possessed four short legs and a bulky body. Its tail was rather short. The skull had a beak and shearing cheek teeth arranged in continuous dental batteries, suggesting that the animal sliced up plants. Like other ceratopsians, this dinosaur may have been a herd animal, travelling in large groups, as suggested by bone beds. Named by Lawrence Lambe in 1913, Styracosaurus is a member of the Centrosaurinae. One species, S. albertensis, is currently assigned to Styracosaurus. Another species, S. ovatus, named in 1930 by Charles Gilmore was reassigned to a new genus, Rubeosaurus, by Andrew McDonald and Jack Horner in 2010, but it has been considered either its own genus or a species of Styracosaurus (or even a specimen of S. albertensis)[3] again, since 2020.

Is a genus of plateosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Triassic period, around 214 to 204 million years ago, in what is now Central and Northern Europe. Plateosaurus is a basal (early) sauropodomorph dinosaur, a so-called "prosauropod". The type species is Plateosaurus trossingensis; before 2019, that honor was given to Plateosaurus engelhardti, but it was ruled as undiagnostic (i.e. indistinguishable from other dinosaurs) by the ICZN. Currently, there are three valid species; in addition to P. trossingensis, P. longiceps and P. gracilis are also known. However, others have been assigned in the past, and there is no broad consensus on the species taxonomy of plateosaurid dinosaurs. Similarly, there are a plethora of synonyms (invalid duplicate names) at the genus level. Discovered in 1834 by Johann Friedrich Engelhardt and described three years later by Hermann von Meyer, Plateosaurus was the fifth named dinosaur genus that is still considered valid. Although it had been described before Richard Owen formally named Dinosauria in 1842, it was not one of the three genera used by Owen to define the group, because at the time, it was poorly known and difficult to identify as a dinosaur. It is now among the dinosaurs best known to science: over 100 skeletons have been found, some of them nearly complete. The abundance of its fossils in Swabia, Germany, has led to the nickname Schwäbischer Lindwurm (Swabian lindworm). Plateosaurus was a bipedal herbivore with a small skull on a long, flexible neck, sharp but plump plant-crushing teeth, powerful hind limbs, short but muscular arms and grasping hands with large claws on three fingers, possibly used for defence and feeding. Unusually for a dinosaur, Plateosaurus showed strong developmental plasticity: instead of having a fairly uniform adult size, fully grown individuals were between 4.8 and 10 metres (16 and 33 ft) long and weighed between 600 and 4,000 kilograms (1,300 and 8,800 lb). Commonly, the animals lived for at least 12 to 20 years, but the maximum life span is not known. Despite the great quantity and excellent quality of the fossil material, Plateosaurus was for a long time one of the most misunderstood dinosaurs. Some researchers proposed theories that were later shown to conflict with geological and palaeontological evidence, but have become the paradigm of public opinion. Since 1980 the taxonomy (relationships), taphonomy (how the animals became embedded and fossilised), biomechanics (how their skeletons worked), and palaeobiology (life circumstances) of Plateosaurus have been re-studied in detail, altering the interpretation of the animal's biology, posture and behaviour.

Are anthropomorphic turtles with removable shells that come in many different colors, with green and red Koopa Troopas being the most common; green Koopa Troopas usually walk in a straight line until they hit a wall or fall into a bottomless pit, while red Koopa Troopas walk back and forth without walking off of the platforms they are on. Koopa Troopas are the most common members of the Koopa species. Most serve as foot soldiers belonging to Bowser's Minions, being the second most common enemy encountered by Mario behind the Goombas. As revealed in Super Mario 64, however, not all Koopa Troopas work for Bowser (or any other villain), some of whom even act as allies to Mario during his adventures, and have appeared as playable characters in various spin-off games starting with Super Mario Kart. Koopa Troopas can utilize their shells in a variety of ways.

If you’ve seen a woman kick her opponent so hard that chirping cartoon birds pop out at any point over the last 10 years, there’s a good chance it was Dakota Kai doing the kicking. The Kiwi Superstar perfected her striking ability on the international independent scene for years, competing from Australasia to Japan, before being recruited to the WWE Performance Center in 2017. Her introduction to the WWE Universe came months later during the inaugural Mae Young Classic, where she impressed with a run into the Quarterfinals. Once she landed in NXT, Kai quickly won over the NXT faithful with her sunny disposition and high-impact arsenal. The axiom “looks can be deceiving” held true here, however, as Kai’s happy-go-lucky attitude belied her true treacherous nature. Beneath her warm smile laid a cut-throat competitor willing to stab anyone in the back to get her way. The first indication came when Kai blindsided longtime friend Tegan Nox. Kai then formed a potent alliance with the Raquel Gonzalez, going on to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles twice, but that partnership, too, ended in betrayal when it became clear that Gonzalez was the only thing standing in Kai’s way of becoming NXT Women’s Champion. At SummerSlam, Kai reemerged alongside Bayley and IYO SKY to stand defiantly in the face of Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. After falling in the Finals of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament, Dakota & IYO SKY would fire back in the rematch Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah to bring gold to the Damage CTRL name. With Damage CTRL now joined by Asuka and Kairi Sane, and with leader Bayley booted from the group, the faction looks to run roughshod on Raw. Selfish, deceitful and un-apologetically ambitious, Kai looked to continue building upon her already-impressive resume, one dastardly kick at a time.
