Guys, I have a question.

I often see fans depict Piccolo as jiangshi for events like Halloween. I'm all for it, and I have some sort of explanation for myself as to why people see him as jiangshi.

I think it's primarily because he's the reincarnation of a demon king, born for revenge, and as I read online, when a person's soul can't leave the body due to a wrongful death or a desire to cause trouble, the person becomes a jiangshi according to the beliefs.

There's also some connection to good and bad in the human body (Kami and Piccolo Daimao), and there's an amulet with a sealing spell attached to the forehead of the jiangshi, which is a bit like Mafuba.

But I also like to think that Piccolo jiangshi duets with Gohan as the one who resurrected him. It echoes Seiga Kakyu and Yoshika Miyako from Touhou Project a bit.

Yoshika's theme is strongly associated with Piccolo for me by the way, and this particular composition - Hour of Resurrection by Nakarin just screams Piccolo to me.

But I'm interested in your opinion on this topic.
